Palm Treo 750, stuck in bootloader ROM flashing not working

I had to hard reset my palm, as it was stuck at windows screen. It had WM6.

Now it does not go beyond bootloader screen.

Tried, the following

1. Palm recovery tool, connection gets lost
2. Tried ROM flashing with the WM6 ROM (CHEEIMG.nbh) with 2GB Mini SD card with FAT 32 formatting, does not progress, it gets stuck no progress even after one hour.

Not sure what to do next, any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks hammod2k, I have tried all the suggestions on the thread. Still when flashing the original rom, it does not go beyond Bootloader -ok hans at GSM, left overnight for flashing, still not working.

Tried Mtty, set 14 0/ task 28 55aa /

Tried to flash Hard SPL, bit it is not successful, I am getting an error "Image file is corrupted".


I will keep searching threads and reading..in the meantime.

I exactly have the same problem bro..it hangs up on gsm...i tried removing my card and hard resetting it but it just brings me to a tricolored screen red green and blue with the word serial at the bottom...tried soft reset but still the same thing..hope someone could help us on this :(

Please follow the link and look at post 9 for the file,use the Desptop update method file and extract using winrar to get th file you are looking for. hope it helps,

Sorry to bother but i have a few questions...i have a 750 treo and none of the support on this website is helping...i am trying to flash my palm 750 but its says the file is corrupted..what do i do about that? Progress only reaches 7% ive used cheetah and kaiser unlockers and i was also wondering if it can be flashed just using the computer and usb in booter mode since it wont go past the palm splash screen...i can access my treo using mtty but doing task 2a doesnt do anything either... I think that maybe my phone is screwed up. I appreciate any help you can offer.

I have almost the same problem with my Palm 750 that I believe locked to Rogers.

1. It hangs on GSM if I use SD card ROM file CHEEIMG.nbh . I have tried many different CHEEIMG.nbh files (ATT, Cingular, ROW…)
2. Running CheetahUnlocker will crush at 7%, and my Palm 750 will reboot and freeze at MS Mobile screen.

I have the same problem, and I think we have to change the IPL and after run cheatunlock.

How can we do it?

on my treo I have hard-spl'd but still i cant manage to flash a rom

My Bootloader screen results:
CHEE100
IPL - 0.20

CHEE100
SPL - 1.40.0liNex

it starts, gets to about 4-7% and then it says:

i have no idea what i am doing wrong
it all started when i tried to flash a wm 6.5 os and it didnt work... i was just randomly stuck on the bootloader screen
