Well I am running 10.10.25.25 but didn't get a lot of calls since I flashed 7.1 yday. tried calling "myself" 3 times earlier from different phones. ringing was just fine. will keep calling me till this drives me nuts or my ringtone fails ;-)

I noticed that all of a sudden my ringtone changed to the standard WinMobile Ringtone, but no missed calls.

Nevertheless i have "av0pw3r" in the appropiate registry key.

Hold on i'll soft-reset the device...

still the same. But I just noticed that after i entered my pin, it directly went to the phone settings dialog, where i can change the ring tone etc.

I have to admit though that i had installed yota contacts, but after having read, that it could cause problems, removed it from the device.

Do i have to hard reset my blackstone? Using V7.1 btw.

first of all thanks a lot for all your effort in this and of course for the great ROM!

Just to understand (and maybe also to help):
Why do you think the soundscript is the problem? And if it would be the problem how does this help to find the program that does actually change the value?

Just as an additional info: I once wrote a little sound mgr app for windows mobile 6.0 (smartphone ed.) and there have been 2 registry keys (unfortunately I cannot find the source code any more to check the regkey path) that held an array of all possible ringtones/eventones possible to choose. And when I first tried to manually set a sound as a ringtone it did not work until I actually put the whole path for the file in these 2 arrays. Don't know if this is still like that in WM 6.1 and also if this will be related to this prob in any way. But perhaps it helps at some point.

- av0pw3r = vibration and ring
- a = none
- c50apw3c150r = increasing ring
- p = ring once
- aw3w3r = vibrate

Some small suggestions for your V7.2, which you could maybe add:

- translucent and blue theme (found on XDA), switches the ugly green to blue
- IPC black dialer and calculator (really nice!)
- Active Sync fake server, and schedule on manual
- Active Sync Killer by Elias (or is it already in it?)
- Tom Tom 7.9
- PIM backup
- Touch HD power off (nice app. which gives you option screen when long power off)

These are some things I always add after flashing, most of the times I had to add Hd Tweak etc etc, but they're all already in your ROM.

Off course nothing big!!

7.1 has some issues with Fring (3.34.17.216)... it seems related with font size. It didn't append in Dutty's roms or in the official rom.

When you try to configure SIP in Fring, every thing is "blown away"... tryed with previous Fring version but also without success....

I know this time I've got gold in my hands.
It sounds rediculous but I won't sleep before this is perfect!

I just realised the benchmarks I made before where with Touchresponse enabled.

Don't know what the new ddi.dll will do but I can always go back.

One thing for shure, the rom feels fast, maybe a little faster then V7.1.

But benchmarks will tell that later.

And fingers crossed I fixed the ringtones this time.

So did anybody already find out how to enable both side call recording without using the original ICR application? I'd like to use Audio Notes Touch, but I don't hear the other party loud enough. I don't like smei-working solutions like using high mic gain, etc. Just the real thing ;-)

I once managed to make it work - I think by first using the original ICR app once and then it worked fine with Audio Notes Touch. However, this was on Duttys ROM and it doesn't seem to work with this one here!

seems that a lot of results were ~50% LESS !

in JANSCHTSMAN's #63 post he got these results with ATI driver (i suspect no ddi.dll)

before i continue i want to make sure Laurentius26 that you know how amazing you and your work is. i got my TOUCH HD a few weeks ago and have fallen in love with it the same way i did when i got my Uni 3 years ago. it took that long to find a suitable device that i would consider as an upgrade for my needs.

with that out of the way, what do these results tell us?
well it seems that the results are reduced for a specific functionality of the graphics chip. mainly seems the PIXEL shader part of the test (filtering, lights). but i have no idea why this specific functionality would be effected.
it would impact the desktop interface for anything calculated with textures on polygons, like HTC home screen, album,SMS,etc as these have "flip" type animations that use polygons and a texture applied. the "painting" of the texture and it's filtering are done by the pixel shader and so anything you see on your TOUCH HD that uses fancy interface animations is going to be effected.

Leo, I fear to tell ya, but I think Shaps Advanced Config is broken :-/ trying to start it results in "Error parsing config file" and I get a screen with like 50% of the usual settings available. After manual install of Advanced Config 3.3. it seems to work again though :-)

You know, even with normal ROM, I found WAV files are better anyway. Before, I found the first audible ring was really late. If I called myself, 5 to 10 secs of delay easily. Since I changed to WAV, it rings immediately.

The ringtones problem since V3, but V4 and V5 without of this problem.
If you converted your ringtones to WAV, the bug disappeared...
You can give it a try.

save all the ringtone files into .wav format. and put them into /windows/rings folder

check if it works, mate.

btw, how does ICR works? it seems it's not automatic recording at all? i set it saving the records on storage card. i called some, but i didnt find the ICR records folder? i used vito audio notes 1.32 before. is ICR recording quality better than audio notes? thanks

I agree. My ringtone is .mp3 but I always put it on the phone in the "ring" folder with the rest of the ringers. I usually don't get a ringing problem, unless I get a call and the caller ID is delayed. Maybe cause I use Vibrate and Ring. But rather than that, no problems.

Ringtones converting to wav is rediculous because it will make them much bigger and decrease the speed.

I would like to have confirmation's that the ringtone problem is still there without Yota contact's installed and V.7.2 flashed.

Thanks for the ROM its working fine... I havnt personally noticed any ringtone problems... the only problem I have found is that when using the Youtube application I have no sound! No sound at all :( this is over 3g/hspda and wi-fi... is this a common bug or? Was fine before I flashed your latest ROM!

Apart from your standard programs I have eReader, Batti, Callcalendar, GPSCycleComputer and Darklord taskbar and ervius SD Config tool (it is missing from your ROM, even though your list includes it)

My email is connected to my corporate exchage server.

Everything works flawlessly. Excellent ROM and keep up the good work.

I flash to 7.2 tonight, let's do a three day evaluation for example.

Yes, I did a soft reset and now it's working. Another thing, I deactivated notification of wireless, but after the reboot I got them again.

I have 3 issues to report.

1-Opera often crashes on exiting having to softreset.
2-Atm i'm obligated to use ie6 because e can't open links on opera, like i can open blackstone rom development page but then i can't open topics unless i choose open in another tab or when opera does open the topic i can't change pages.
3-Waiting for 7.3 ver because the only game that o like,obulis with the "new" ddi.ddl does not work correctly,even if i use wvga fix. Were you have to press to play on the intire game does not correspond to were it's drawn on screen. i have ro press "1cm" above for it to work.

anyhow, hope to see 7.3 today then.

Hi,

We found the problem with Youtube not playing for some users.

It's the new radio what is causing this.

Radio 1.10.25.25 confirmed Youtube playing by the beta testers. :) (thank you guys!)

Advanced config 3.3 has been reported a few times now and I'm aware off.
The provxml is not good.

I've attached the right provxml which you can copy to the windows dir on your device.

With the new provxml you will have the ATI switch in the 'screen' category in Schap's Advanced Config 3.3.
It will give you the option to swith between ATI or HTC 3d drivers.

A big thanks to my friend Nika for modifying the xml.

Everytime I've installed G-Alarm, I let it fix the alarm bug, no problems occured. So I think G-Alarm is not causing this.

My Experience with Dutty's V1.7 was it seems to retain a lot of memory after 12 hrs (near 50%) after closing all the running program, it is not a big problem, but the performance seems to slow down a little. I only use the GPS and the emails. I don't use the phone that much.

Leo's ROM V7.1 is very efficient, and it appear to be faster than Duttys and the memory always stay below or around 40% when I close all the running program.

Leo, I'm using V7.2. Flashed it 2 days ago. Initially all OK except for Youtube, no sound. A day later ringtones are gone. No sound, just vibrations. Soft reset but problem remains. I don't have Yota contacts.

Eventhough I've already downloaded v7.3, I'll stick to v7.2 for now.

My experience from yesterday evening until now ...
Works great, G-Alarm woke me up in the morning, no problems with ringtones ( recieved 9 calls today, yesterday was ok too ), video playback on CorePlayer about the same, YouTube is working normal and ActiveSync doesn't complain about anything.

If I notice anything weird or wrong, I'll post it.

Using Garmin XT, CorePlayer, G-Alarm, ChangeScreen.

Now just flashed 7.3 and immediately have a ringtone bug.
After that indeed the ringtone is set back to windows mobile ringtone.
Only different thing I installed compared to 7.1 was the IPC black dialer, but hen the adjusted skin by bbonnz (?).
Deleted and installed original black dialer skin.
Will see how it goed now.
Don't know if this had something to do with it....

I've done some testing on v7.3 with Youtube. On radio rom v 1.09.25.35, Youtube gave me an error: Can not play the video.
I flashed Radio 1.10.25.25 and Youtube worked again.

I have no ringtone bugs, everything is fast and stable.

This version is the fastest most stable till now. I'll stick with it for a while. :)

I'm running 7.3 a couple of hours now.
After an initial ring tone failure, everything seems to work perfect now.
Youtube has sound, Advanced config works and is able to switch between drivers, no other major things found!
So far, so good :)

yep, replacing the ddi.dll for the last one solved obulis problem !
Also now opera works, damn that radio lol

Edit - exiting Opera still crashes the device :( If i install opera 15233 from omnia the problem goes away and we have more options like changing the browser to identify has desktop and the "virtual" zoom slider on the right side. The backside is that while loading pages it keeps jumping from full screen to normal until the page is loaded.

yu can use the "Camel's HTC dialer Black". This only change the grpahic files on dailer and nothing else more :) , so, there is no risk - but i'ts up to you ..

First issues we have identified with 7.3 is that the youtube application, if started up straight away, has sound. If we then try and go into Music Player afterwards its all slowed down massively, and it wont launch anything.

Soft reset, same problem with above steps.

Soft reset then open music player, then close track and open youtube - no sound.

So far only ROM in last couple of days I havent had these issues on is 7.1. Havent installed any additional software after flashing and hard reset the device after flashing also.

thanks for your rom leo and as promised donation made. i have searched but i have failed to find what am looking for because i am aware that voip is included in this rom so wanted to use something like voipraider to make voip calls what do i need, is there any additional software required sorry if this has been discussed before but i have searched and failed to locate the information that i required so perhaps if someone can point me towards the right direction thanks

I have try only 7.2
First from all I want to say that it was a real fast rom.
I had not problem with opera but used the included cab.
You tube yes was a problem.

The bigger problem, was the battery.
Of course nobody can speak about battery just after flashing because all the time we install programs and soft reset and soft reset.
Today afternoon i let my device at 6 o'clock with 86% or 83%. Just I let open only the wifi, without to be at any site. I let it on, just for test. Nothing other running at the background. All programs was closed and I had vodafone sim which has the best signal.
At 10 o'clock and without to use my mobile (the first day after every flashing I use an other mobile) I open it, and with big surprise I looked 54%:eek:

Now about radio 1.09.25.35
I test it just before with another rom and work correct at all.
But I will come back at the official radio, because I think, this is the reason of the problem about the battery.

Howcan i uninstall programs like "Curtain’s down mod by NisseDILLIGAF, it removes the curtain’s in Manilla today." & "* Touchreponse v.3.0 made by Snailslug, when you press the screen you will feel a short vibration.
" they dont appear at remove programs.

OK I flashed v7.3 this morning. Initially the ringtones seems to work. I soft reset twice and suddenly it stops ringing. Ringtones seem to have changed from my Generic Ring2 to Inovation. The phone only vibrates and no sound. I don't have Yota contact installed. This ringtones seems to be a very persistent devil!

OK tried soft reset again and confirmed that ringtones does not work on my V7.3. I then went on to re-install your L26_ringtones.cab which you had posted much earlier. After soft reset, the ringtones seems to start working again. Call my phone and it vibrates and rings. I will see how long this last and will update later.

Looks impossible, nm, I've installed Dutty's rom(more clean, I can customize it myself.)

After re-installing ringtones_cab the phone rings. Call the phone twice and it vibrates and rings. Funny thing is I tried changing the ringtones to Generic Ring2 but could not. It keep on playing Inovation ringtones. Third and fourth time calling, the phone only vibrates, no more sound. Back to square one! Ringtones problem hasn't gone away I'm afraid.

GREAT ROM! I thought it was too perfect! I upgraded the buggy Opera browser (can't put check on ENABLE PLUGIN under settings!) so I changed to another version which works FANTASTIC. Even works on Youtube! But the main YouTube App plays perfect on the first video of a fresh reboot, after that, NO SOUND! Tried it over and over again. Not sure what's the problem :(

It seems that the included radio which you flash together with the firmware seems to have some problem. In 7.1, I have no line connection to my telco every now and then i.e. disconnected and take a long time to search for signal.

I reflash the radio downloaded from the Wiki, and the problem goes off.

Maybe, those with problems may want to reflash your radio again to see whether your problems go off.

reflash the radio 1.10.25.25, i did this as well and all good now! Youtube works and plays video no problem!

Only one thing is still bothering me is when i try to ring to my HD it takes 2 rings (beeps) at least and just than HD starts ringing!! Is it way to improve this?? :confused:
