Stupid question...

I've done a ton of ROM upgrades but never noticed this before.

In the "program files" directory on the device (as opposed to internal memory), the file "DIAMING.NBH" is listed.

I know the new way of upgrading roms is to change the extension and to rewrite the name but once it's done, does that file stay there?

I'm sure this is a stupid question but I've never noticed it. Is it a file we can remove once the upgrade is done?

Sorry for sounding stupid, I simply don't remember seeing that file there.

once the upgrade is done, DIAMING.NBH is no longer needed.

yes once you have flashed and all is well you can dump that file :)
