Difficulty to flash any Rom's with such transitional times. But, this a good thing. Lots of choices, however for some......too much choice is bad. Don't know which to pick, lol ....:confused:

Yes, the internal method founded by suiller is the way I always install roms.

The time consuming part for me however is not a one day a fare. Testing can sometimes take several days.

any news about the 3d ati drivers? or windows mobile speed improvement? (not manilla), I think that we never gona see a "proper" rom for the diamond, all the roms aviable are terribly slow, its takes ages to open contacts or sms. Its no funny when you have to open those tasks 1 million times in a day.

P.S It is pretty shocking compare a w2003 SE PDA vs Diamond. On wm2003se the apps opens nearly instant and the system runs miles away better than our "powerfull" diamond. Just talking.

Thats because the diamond and all modern devices use flash memory, so when the power is lost you dont loose your data. The older, WM2003 devices used very fast volatile RAM. Going back a few years now there was lots of dicsussion around this but it was an accepted loss as you gained the ability to keep rocking when the lights went out.

I have over 1k messages stored, and I open messaging nearly instantly.

As for the 3d driver, you can always try 3rd parties, like omnia.
Change the LocalHook value while cooking in
HKLM\System\D3DM\Drivers

You might also want to exeriment with the DDI.

Thats why i would be very gratefull is some people would upload these roms unmodified! But im sure they will show up somewhere if the time is right. htc e-club is of no use for me because only updates for original language (dutch) are available, but i prefer my stuff in english.

somebody should make a rom that is like totaly stocj except for updated applications (if those versions dont have bugs), and then also make sure that everything is working, no bugs at all, no extra applications but also nothing removed etc... i use my phune professionaly and its important yhat everything works!

If you really CAN'T live without another digit after you ROM ver, just flash any of the ROMs based on the 2.03, copy over the files from the \windows\ directory, if need be, convert them to modules, 'reloc them with respect to your rom and merry cooking...

The changes from all 1.9x ROMs aren't critical. The TouchFLO3d is without memory leak and is very fast and stable. Suppose is a ROM with the correction must have all 1.9x.
You could say is the ROM which need to have Diamond if HTC didn't hurry to release the Diamond. Nothing else new!!!!
