View Full Version : am i missing something

i have downloaded some homescreens and followed the instructions on how to install them on my Black Dash with windowsmobile6.. but here is the issue.. when i try and copy or move the xml file over to the appdata/home folder i get a O with a slash through it meaning no i cant do it... any ideas??

Try using Total Commander (http://www.ghisler.com/ce.htm) to copy the file to the designated folder.

Hey thanks man... being the noob that i am i did miss a step... i did not completly unzip/extract the files correctly.. once i unzipped/extract properly, BINGO works like a dream.... thanks again for the reply

Thats cool glad it was just a extraction issue wasn't sure if you was trying to copy over a sytem file :)

little more help if you dont mind..... what can i do to change this. when i click away from my home screen and then leave idle the screen switches back to the home screen in like 5 to 7 seconds... does this no matter what i am doing away from home screen..

Start\Settings\Homescreen change the timeout to 10 mins :)
