Manilla 2D and TF3D

I am currently using WAD2.0 and very happy with it...

Just wondering what is Manilla 2D and what is TF3D - these are apparently "all the rage" and just wondering what I am missing??

can someone explain in basics what each of these are?

are they just skins to appear like the Diamond?

no they are not skins they are the 'new' htc home apps from the diamond (tf3d) and the jade (manilla 2d). You can't run tf3d on your vogue so don't bother, I've been running manilla 2d for quite a while and I really like the ease and flow of the interface. the best was to put it on your vogue is with a new rom that includes it, however you can also install it using the downloads from the thread in the dev/hacking forum.
Try it, you'll probably like it.

thanks ; when you say "home apps" do you mean that manila replaces the Today screen.
can I run Wad and Manilla ?

also, i searched for a .cab for manilla, but cant find it - there numerous skin, manilla-hack threads, etc, but please link me to the cab install thread. Thanks!!!!

if you get a rom with it already included you can install manilla controll and switch back to a second today screen using a softkey.
