It may be a clone of some device, but not sure which one. It does not look familiar to me. Made in China so who knows. You can't get any support from the company that manufactured the device or the seller?

Hopefully someone else will be able to point you in some kind of direction.

Hei dude,. your device look very similiar to DOPOD M700, that AFAIK, it have no ROM support,.

But the newer Update for DOPOD M700 is DOPOD p800w (ARTEMIS), that have support for ROM,.

But i think your device is not the same with that, but maybe same how to's,.

so i would recommend you to visit and read further in HERE (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Artemis)

Hope it help

I've found a user manual, but i'm not sure it's is for my device, but it looks good because all parameter in the manual is same as my device. Exept one. The manual says:

To perform a Hard Reset

Hard reset by pressing device buttons:

1. Tap Start > Settings > System tab > Master Clear.

2. On the System tab, select the Master Clear (!) icon.

3. Proceed to enter the confirmation code: 1234 and push reset button, system will auto reboot to complete the operation.

My problem is, the Master Clear option is missing from my devices settings menu. Can i reseting the device with any other software?

Actually, the problem is that I don't know how to read :D
If I were you, considering that there is no support from the vendor aside from "Buy a new one because shipping for the device is the same as for the cd" I wouldn't do it (unless you really want to have a shiny new brick)... I have a feeling that maybe these people aren't really all that smart and what they did was only to open up a phone (God only knows which one), took out the motherboard as it was, and slapped it into a cheap plastic case.

If you are not terribly concerned with WM5 functionality, I would stay put. Just my thoughts though. As far as the hard reset, I believe that your only hope would be to drain the backup battery (just like it was said a few posts earlier) Hope this helps some.

These people are enough smart to make cheap board with one or two chips called processors (bought per kilogram :D). Then these boards are slapped into very interesting and high-tech devices - for some people.
But The best characteristics of these devices, is possibility to restart every 5 min/hour/day/month - depends of device. Only service shop or hammer tool can help for this :D
WM6 for these - mission impossible :)

SORRY FOR MY TERRIBLE ENGLISH :D

The backup battery usualy is a simple flat battery, or something else? Is it possible to open up the case and remove this battery for faster "draining"?

For most devices that I have seen, that normally implies opening up the device. If you feel adventurous, give it a shot. And yes, it is normally a flat coin battery.

Well, here it is

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you... LOVE. I believe that this is the closest thing there is to it. The case seems modded though (specially the front buttons). I am not certain whether this will help you much, but I guess it is something (maybe even a hint to search by using "love" instead of M802)

BTW, dashmaster... thanks for the hint :)
