I cant load any radios on my diamond.... I have juicy 4.4 rom. I was able to get the latest telus radio but i cant load any others

juicy's rom means you have a CMDA diamond, the radios listed here are for GSM version.

I have a CDMA Diamond..... And it didnt hard rest my phone.

Nope! all your settings will be intact! You can upgrade your Radio without any harm...:p Off course you could make a backup for your own convenience, but it's not necessary

That won't be necessary.
If you flash via the RUU, this just results in a soft reset.

The Diamond Custom RUU by Tom is patched not to hard reset after flashing Radios, Splashes and SPL's.
