I recently purchased an AT&T Tilt - love it. Everything relatively smooth for about 6 weeks. Then I go to update my sync with Outlook and nothing.

Plug in phone using USB cable to PC (running Vista 32bit) but device isn't seen. It charges but not recognized on PC - thus nothing to sync to.

I've cleared my previous sync settings in ActiveSync, unpartnered the device on my PC, uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Mobile Device Center - still nothing.

Checked to make sure phone and PC had USB connection active - yep. Checked and unchecked the "Enable advance network functionality" on the Tilts PC to USB connection setting - nothing. Ran diagnostics on my USB ports - nothing. Was able to recognize and sync my iPod and Palm handheld - no problems.

I'm out of ideas. Anyone run into this or just have an idea I missed?

Appreciate any help. Thanks.

I had something similar with mine. For some reason it stopped liking the version of Outlook running (Office 2000) on that system, evn tho' it had worked fine for many months. I connected it to our other system with Office 2007 and it was recognized right away.
