Hi, I'm an ex non-os phones user and I've just passed to windows mobile smartphones with spv c600 (torn100 CE 5.02) also known as htc tornado. I have wm5 installed on it and I have some little specific problems.
1: How can I change the interface of my sms collection? now, they are grouped by sender/receiver all-in-one, and I would like to have the text messages grouped in inbox-outbox-drafts-sent messages.
2. How can I have a steady menu instead of the way they are grouped now in recent programs and all programs?
3. Which method is better for installing applications? .exe files with ActiveSync or .cab files directly from phone?
4. How can I upgrade to WM6? Can I do this by myself, following a tutorial, or do I have to go with my phone at a service?

1 - Not sure what you mean on question one. Can you post a screenshot?
2 - Go to Start > Settings > Home Screen > Uncheck the Show Recent Programs box
3 - There isn't a better way just user preferred. I frequently change roms so I store all the necessary cab files on my storage card so I can install them on the go.
4 - I highly recommend rickwyatt's Rose Rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=440275) as it adds some cool in-call functions to the d-pad. This might help with your sms question too.
For flashing help Karhoe's upgrade guide which is the second sticky post, VERY USEFUL!

Hi, thanks for your reply.
1. I would like to group my sms: inbox-outbox-sentmessages. Something like here (http://www.pencomputing.com/images/SMS_Inbox.jpg).
LE: I found a useful thing but it's not permanent. In Messaging --> Text Messages --> Menu --> Folder I can see my sms colelction groupd in Deleted Items-Drafts-Inbox-Outbox-Sent Items. How can I make this permanent?
2. First i should learn to install .nbf ROM's. I installed Build_5.2.1616.18120 v3.7 just with RomUpdateUtility, .nbf is something new for me. I promise i'll comeback after testing that ROM.
Have a nice day!
