As long as the conections are the same(mini USB) it should work! I have used my T-Mobile DASH cord with my at&t Tilt before, worked fine! As long as the light says its charging, its fine! Hope that helps you out!:)

what about the usb version like uh... the htc tytn has the version 1.1 and the htc tytn ll has usb version 2.0.
does that make any difference? or am i thinking too much?

does that make any difference? or am i thinking too much?I also had my TyTN II mains adapter fail (after only a couple of months and about 4 uses). It just made a loud click and would no longer power on so if this is what happened to you, see if you can get a (different) warranty replacement through your supplier. Although the TyTN IIs proprietary extUSB port supports USB 2.0, it's a variety called 'USB 2.0 Full Speed' which (just like USB 1.1 Full Speed) only offers up to 12 Mb/sec and not the 480 Mb/s thats the theoretical maximum for USB 2.0 High Speed. When I plug my TyTN II into the NEC chipset USB 2.0 High Speed capable USB ports on my PC, the 'network' thats created is only a 10 Mb/sec one. Both phones have 5 Volt adapters designed for HTC extUSB ports and the USB 1.1 vs 2.0 differences are not associated with mains charger connections so you should be fine.
