DEAD WLAN - Help !!!

Hello,

Like other members of this forum, after i flashed a cooked rom, my WLAN stopped working. Is completely dead and nothing can be donnne solve the problem, by the usual ways.

I know that in this forum can be found a method to solve this problem but that solution is only design to apply on the HERMS. Is there a solution to put working de WLAN on the Polaris?

Now, I’ve installed again the original ROM (WM 6.1) and restored de original SPL, but the WLAN doesn’t work. Please somebody can help me?

You could try flashing another radio ROM version.

Just a thought.

After the installation of the Original Rom ended, did you Hard Reset the unit.

This sometimes solves some of the problems. Even if you think the unit did a Hard Rest after the flashing - do another one.

if you flashed the original rom, you should've gotten the original radio with it.
did you flash the EXACT rom you had in the first place? or another, updated original rom?

Nir36 is rite. If the original one that u flashed back is the same as one u used b4 the WLAN stopped working, then by some unluck you have a hard ware problem. My suggestion would be re-dowload the original same rom as b4, re-flash and then hard reset. If it dont work, its erm... fucked! sorry dude

just change the wifi power saving options to full power and it will work again. i had to do that everytime i falshed a rom...
