I transferred a 5 MB file from my Windows XP folder to my WM 6.1. via WIFI.
When I copy it to my Microdrive card the transfer rate is 180 kB/s.
I think this is very slow, isn't it? My WLAN has 54 Mbit?
Anybody knows how I can improve the transfer rate?

How did you transfer the file? Windows shared folder, FTP,..?
I get about 500kB/sec using Mocha FTP server on the phone to the card.

I transferred the file via WIFI and with Resco Explorer from my harddisk (WIN XP) to my Mobile, directly.
Hmm, I will look for Mocha FTP and give it a try, maybe the rate will increase.

with Mocha FTP I have a transfer rate of ca.500 kB/s, too.
Why is it with Resco Explorer slower?

Maybe Resco explorer is slower? ;)
It's a pretty heavy program indeed, wouldn't surprise me.
EDIT: Just tested with Resco...
- Via network share: 40(!)kB/s...
- Via FTP server on the PC: ~400kB/s
So it just seems Resco handles network shares very poorly.

lol i just bought resco, how do u check to see how fast it transfers files? if mocha can do it much faster, i may have just wasted 30 bucks lol
