I have owned this phone three short months. I recently dropped it while driving and it fell down by the gas peddles and took on very light water. The water marks are fine and white indicating no water damage. I performed a hard reset on the phone in an attempt to fix it but no success.
What it currently does is boots up to the "Tap here to begin" screen. The touchscreen does not register any taps and after about 30 seconds the phone will make a noise and shut itself off. I have tried replacing the battery with a known working one from another Tilt and got the same result.
The matter is out of my hands now and I have since upgraded to the Fuze. I will leave it to an expert that knows how to repair it or needs parts.
This phone is SIM Locked but CID Unlocked. It has been upgraded to a clean custom 6.1 ROM.
