HTC touch diamond

hey guys im new on the forum because i fucked up my htc diamond i flashed it with a unsigned olinex 1.40? anyway the thing is my device starts up en then it says you need to set some settings but the first thing is to align the lcd screen i cant bypass that wtf is wrong with this device? did i installed it right?
HTC touch diamond NLD 1.37.00.00 --> 1.40(maybe)
its a MDA please help or else my father will kick my ass :(

Umm i dont think you messed up device seeing how your device boots up as usual and no spl error showed up on the RGB screen. Umm and the alignment thing, is that the screen where it has the cross hairs on it? like the middle then the left bottom left and so on? well not sure if umm know this but ur suppose to tap the center (no offense intended) if it doesn't boot up, try doing a hard reset see if it helps, hard reset is done by, it tell you here, http://www.hardreset.eu/htc_touch_diamond_hard_reset_soft_reset_en.html if your still having problem getting past the alignment screen, you may want to try and reflash the rom for the device. (but first wait for someone else take on this) but before u do flash check see if you did install hardspl right, to do this you press, volume down then reset button to get into the spl mode thingy. :/ hope i was atleast some help

Try the HTC website for a Original UPdated ROM and flash with that, if that goes well, then try and cooked ROM (if you dare) from this site..

But personaly Id reflash with something off the HTC website first

Well I don't think u bricked ur phone otherwise the phone won't even boot... anywayz I think u better follow anubis23's suggestion first try the Hard Reset and we can take frm there... cause i think all it needs is a gud Hard Reset :p also another reason cud be is ur touch screen cud be givin u problems but i guess it's too early to say i suggest u do the Hard Reset and post ur results....

It's not as easy as flashing the Original ROM frm HTC cause u'll need to take in a lot factors before doin tht like did he do HARD SPL if he did he will need to revert back to the Orginal SPL fer warranty reasons and then flash the Orginal ROM... It wud be best fer Hkayak to do a Hard Reset and post his results.... :D

do you get the tri colour screen?

if so you'll lucky... the boot loader is still working... the rom/radio/.nbh is trashed though...

boot it up...

and take it to usb mode... there you can reflash a rom in windows... (active sync wont load of course... but as long as your in usb mode it'll be able to flash)

1: do a hard reset
if that doesn't help
2: get into bootloader mode and flash an official/oem Diamond ROM. Don't forget to hard reset after the flash.

3: don't ask us how to do it, check out the xda-dev wiki. All the info you need is in there.

Jus for ref wht file did u use exactly cause u never mentioned it... and if u hve the time u cud go ahead and give it to the store but don't expect it in a few days cause it cud be a while...

Also another thing i know u told us tht the align screen is not working but cud u also confirm if ur touch screen is working at all if not I think tht cud be a cause of ur problem of the touch screen not workin at all but ur mobile is fine but if tht is the cause i suggest u leave it to the professionals fer repairing it...

Ouch touchy touchy chotadevil I didn't mean any disrespect but I really did want to know how u got it in the first place cause this phone is not cheap but if u got it but other means ahem ahem I was only thinking abt the poor guy who must be missin his Diamond, anywayz I wud suggest with tht attitude of urs u'll def not get far by gettin solutions in this forum...

With regards to ur problem yes it is jus a matter of flashing an Original WWE ROM tht's it but I wud like sumone else also to agree with me on this before u go ahead....

hey hkayak ,first of all lets kinda keep the language a lil cleaner in here all this F**K word will get you no where,if so send me a privat message and I`ll help you through it ,there is no difference between MDA and PDA ,T-Molbile calls all there pocket pc MDA all the MDA´s from t-mobile are from HTC OK,I have a MDA diamont from t-moblie and hard SPL mine and have no problems updating it ,so message me and I´ll help ya out ok

I bought my htc diamond 5 days ago. I have never owned a mobile phone & never used windows mobile. The phone came with an operater ROM (sfr) & was in French. I read around in here & the same day was able to flash the ROM to the latest official French ROM from HTC. But I wanted the English version so I read again, found the ROM & flashed it. Due to a problem with the official version & Active sync the flash failed & I thought I had bricked my device. But I read around again & found the solution.
Now my device is 100% working & fast.

So from a total newbie, a piece of advice : read the wiki as it's clearer & easier than looking for simple solutions than in the forums.

here is ur solution u just flash hardspl unsigned olinex v 1.37 from here : http://ficca.bounceme.net/download/HARDSpl_Diamond_OliNex_1.37_Unsigned.zip or http://ficca.bounceme.net/download/HARDSpl_Diamond_OliNex_1.93_Unsigned.zip u can download from here and flash from these two hspl if gone any wrong than dont worry i tried it it has recovery certificate just remove cable and restart ok have fun

All the info, and more is inside the "Diamond Rom Development" main thread. A read through the stickies would have answered every one of your questions before you asked it. You say you read them, but I have a feeling you may have tried but your impatience got the best of you.

Again, read "Diamond Rom Development" stickies. There is more than enough information there to help you without you having to "hijack threads" (that means posting your own question in someone else's thread). There is also the search button or google. My favourite is google:

This will find all instances of the "string" located at the forum that google has cache of.

You can even click on advanced search options and narrow the time frame down to a month or even 24 hours.
