I enjoy strategy/action/rpg games. I play zelda snes and final fantasy 2 & 3 on my snes emulator. I also play pocket uno and my girlfriend loves drug wars. All my suggestions are freeware by the way. There's some REALLY good games out there like command and conquer ppc edition if you want to spend some money.

The old Amiga game, Anotehr World is a classic that translates well to the phone

Azgard Defence is a great tower defence game.

Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia are good platform/fighting games with lovely 3d graphics

Explode Arena is a good update of Bomberman

Exit Nights and Orions are good Magic the Gathering-esque card based strategy games.

Dynomite is a cracking Puzzle Bobble/Bust a Move type game

Brain My Day is the best brain training type game I've managed to find

Zuma's good.

Mazera's a good arcade/adventure game

Worms World Party is fantastic and Snails looks like a decent alternative too.

Good puzzle games are:
BoxUp
Chuzzle
Cubis
Jelly Blocks
Link Letters
Mars Needs Cows
Mummy Maze
Text Twist
Traffic Jam

3 mins to load quake 2?! yikes!

mine takes around 20 secs. (running the TF2D).

also try doing a search for morphgear which will play almost any old nintendo rom you can find nicely, sega/atari/coleco roms are around too, but might require a bit more searching to get the right emulator for them.

I used to login to yahoo games from the road and play cards against the wifey when i was on the road too, so there are a million possibilites.

goodluck!

What's a good site to find good free games for Kaiser?

There's so many sites out there that I'd like help weeding out the sites to avoid by sticking with only the ones recommended.

Thanks!

So, it is posted on this forum but I wan't to repost it here...

It is port of old classical and legendary game Duke Nukem 3D
Becouse PC version was playable without mouse it is no problem to play it on Kaiser.

Before you start the game, pull keyboard and switch to landscape....

I found that "Here and Now" edition to be quite flaky, but the old Handmark Monopoly plays great!

Here are the games I love :

Worms World Party - GREAT graphics (must use its own driver or something) It is just like playing it on the Playstation or Xbox 360

Ka-Glom - It is a Tetris type game.. but very addicting and challenging at times

Ms PacMan - The real Namco Version... Very retro and better than the iphone version (originalyl got it to show up an iphone friend bragging)

Tiger Woods Golf - Ok, not quite as good as the newest PS3 version, but decent graphics and a lot of fun if you are into these types of games

Crazy Kart - MarioKart-like game .. Lots of fun

Rat Splat - one of the BEST GAMES EVER ... It is bascally Wack-A-Mole with Rats.. and when you hit them, their heads explode

SPB Brain Evolution - You play daily your choice of sub-games (like mine sweeper or math stuff) and over time you will notice your memory and brain work better.. I put it on a PDA for my son and his grades did improve... Plus many of the games are sort of fun ;)

GameBox Classics & Gems - A Total of 6 games in 2 gamepacks... My personal favorite is Battle Tanks

Pocket Nester - The Original NES Emulator.. Super Mario 3 on your phone.. what is cooler than that !?!?!?!? Plus some old NES games have a whole new reason to have fun now.. The Family Fued from 1985 is GREAT because you have to think of how people would have answered in 85.. and you type in the answers.. Real Question :"How do you get ahold of someone in an emergency?" "Cellphone" *BUZZZ* "Email" *BUZZZ* "TXT MEssage" *BUZZZZZZZ* .. We were looking for TELEGRAM, PERSON TO PERSON CALL, etc.. Lol.. fun to play

I hope this gives you some ideas for some games on your Tilt..... Email with any questions

There's also the game Warspear, an MMORPG for WM. Most of the game is in Russian, but the beginning portions are in English and they're translating more all the time. It's also still in beta, so free.

Warspear Site: (English (http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ru&u=http://www.warspear.com/&ei=2diLSZu4LYH8tgeoicSECw&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=3&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3DWarspear%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1C1CHMG_en ___US304%26sa%3DG%26pwst%3D1)) (Original Russian (http://www.warspear.com))

I know I know I should go to EA support but it seems like when I try to buy stuff thru EA site and I respond to the txt msg they send, it says that my Kaiser is unsupported! I assume this has something to do with the cooked ROM and some bad tag in the browser - anyone got any ideas on this one?

I installed warspear, its a pain trying to convert russian from a php driven site, i found out how you actually create an account which took me a while to do, its quite simple really just send an invite to yourself from the button on the main page then they send a link to the registration site.

Great game for a pocket pc, its amazing that you can play with others in an online RPG on a phone, some quest need better english though and you have to guess what to do because the quest info isnt stored in your quest list. I would recommend trying it out once you get past the language barrier your in. :)

No i no issues with getting the game working.

What are you having problems with installation of the game or the character creation?, i think it crashes if you have no save slots left becauser a new character tries to save to slot 1 but emediately crashes becasue there is no save slot left, make sure slot 1 is free to create a new character.

Hope that helps
:)

Turns out I downloaded v1.2 by accident. When I updated to v1.4 it resolved my issue. Good game. Thanks for the link.

I've d/l and installed the latest version of PocketDOS (+ the CPU/FPU emulator) and all seems fine and dandy with PocketDOS itself.

I really want to put Championship Manager 97/98 on my Kaiser and can get the game to the installation screen but can't select any of the 4 boxes on the screen from here as the mouse won't move from the top left quarter of the screen. I've gone through all the configuration options and everything I could find at the PocketDOS Forums.

I'd love to get this going so any help really would be appreciated (and would be shown ;) if I could get it to work).

Try downloading a virtual mouse. I think there's one called "Fake Cursor."

If anybody is interested, the SEGA Genesis is really entertaining, and has a ton of good games. They run quickly, and they look really Hi-res on our Kaisers' small screens. PicoDrive (http://www.modaco.com/content/smartphone-software-games/237281/picodrive-0-52-an-updated-version-for-pocketpc-smartphone/) is great, but you have to register with MoDaCo first, in order to download it. Though I won't tell you where to get the ROMs for it, because it is technically illegal (I really don't think anybody is going to arrest you for playing 20 year old games that you can't even buy anymore), googling will open up a wide library of old classics.

I realize this is an old thread..but figured I'd post here if anyone is still interested. After trying literally over a dozen SNES emulators, and all their different versions. I found one that works perfect from storage card, runs ROMs from card, with full sound, and button mappings working. Granted this is only in protrait mode, but since the Kaiser has enough hardware buttons along with d-pad games are pretty playable. Something fun, to play old games like mario, zelda, nba jamz, street fighter and stuff. Since the Roms are only like 1MB each you could literally have hundreds of games with you on the go here. I'll post all the info and links if anyone wants to give it a try too...along with all the games I've had success with.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned PocketUFO (Freeware). It's a remake/clone/port of the classic X-COM: UFO Defense. I just finished the entire game a couple weeks ago. I finished it once on my 486 and now again on my Tilt (which is probably faster than my 486, LOL). It's a great game with a nice balance of strategic overview, planning, buying/selling, researching alien technology and a nice story, with excellent turned-based tactical fighting when you send your troops out to fight the aliens and return with alien weapons to research, UFO parts, hostages to interrigate, etc. So much fun with a good story through the research reports, etc.

So I can't figure out how to post files on here. Just do a Google search for "PocketSNES-1.12.141-ARM" That's the version that works the best of the dozens I've tried. You'll know you have the right one if the file shows up as 802.5k on your Kaiser (size). Make sure you install gsgetfile.dll also (I believe it's called) You will not be able to load Roms until you load that file. I haven't found a Rom that wouldn't run on my Kaiser with this build of PocketSNES...so just do a search for snes roms, and you should be able to run everything from your storage card.
