Great ROM! (I installed the HD beta 2 version) Ik heb alleen wat dubbele items in de add-program list: File explorer, tomtom en sim-manager. En wanneer ik mijn Diamond een soft reset geef dan kan ik mijn pincode voor de simkaart niet invoeren want dat scherm gaat meteen weer weg. En de applicatie "telefoon" is in deze rom als link verwijderd dus dat is een beetje lastig. Verder is dit echt een goede ROM! Ik kijk uit naar de definitieve versie, succes!!

about dubble items, i notice sim manager and it wil be removed in the final version but about tomtom and file explorer i saw no extra items so can you tell me the locations.( betreft de dubbel iconen is opgemerkt dat sim-manager inderdaad dubbel staat alleen de andere 2 zou ik niet weten waar).
the second question about the softreset the HD manila is causing that.
you can press the pickup button so you can put in your code.(de tweede vraag over de softreset dat komt door de HD manila die wil perse opgestart worden zodat je pincode wegvalt je kan op de hoorn opnemen drukken of eventueel via commmanager de telefoon communicatie uit en aan tezetten.
Letop de HD is niet stabiel daarom zijn andere ook meegestopt omdat er teveel dingen aan zijn. Onze HD versie is uitgebracht om nieuwsgierige mensen te laten zien wat HD inhoud. om stabielere rom te hebben zou ik toch Standaard aanraden HD blijft een testfase.
Ik hoop dat je genoeg weet en anders horen we het wel.)

No there are no apps removed.
And about HD manila there are alot stories on xda about HD manila.
But HD is still not stable so if you want a stable one please choose the standaard version.

its al depend of how you use the phone.
Al the powersettings is set off.

i`ve tested also the original rom and its draining also fast.

the colored strype is the batterybar,if you dont like it just go to Windows/opstarten and delete batterybar.ink then soft reset :)

Thanks for this rom. It looks and feels really good.

One thing however that really bugs me: the fontsize on the sms screen is way too big. When I reply or start a new message there are just one or two lines visible from what I'm typing.

I know that there's a css-edit possible to make the default fontsize for the sms-interface smaller, but having to do that myself everytime after a new flash, is weird. You'd think that more people would have requested to have it in the rom.

One minor thing: is it possible in the next rom to have a nice "you've got a message" audiosample playing when a new sms arrives (like in Dutty's version)?

Nu even in het nederlands, mijn beltoon doet het niet waar ik hem ook op instel. Ik heb waarschuwingen in het systeem aanstaan, maar hij trilt alleen maar. Ik gebruik gewoon originele ringtones dus geen mp3 ofzo.

En nog wat verbeter tips:
- Als ik mijn telefoon uitzet onthoud hij de instellingen niet dat ik simkaart geheugen wil gebruiken.
- active sync blijft actief (of het ligt aan mij, laat het dan even weten :) )

OK, using Skippy roms for quitte a while and they are good! Technical not always the best but they got some futures that I like.

Beta3 3.5 is out and is working good except of a calculator-bug ( easy to solve in the register).

De problemen die jij hier hebt ( geen ringtone en geheugen/sim is echt alleen bij jou het geval!) Even een hardreset na installatie en je hebt er geen last van!

thanks for this great rom. I used before V3.2. Before i test this new 3.5 rom of you I also tested the Aztor X version. In both roms i've got the problem that there is no sent folder under SMS. So I can't check anymore the sms-files I sended. Is there any solution to fix this?

About the batterydrain, with V3.2 I could use my diamond for about 1-2 days. With the Aztor X it extended to 2-3 days. Now with version V3.5 beta it's back 1-2 days, but hey the skippy rom looks much better than the standard or the Aztor rom!!

im working with the hd latest rom from skippy,DONT hard reset i promise :)
the rom is just perfect for me!!!just one very little bug because of yota,the first times you start the rom the people tab manilla is not present BUD you just need to go to the rearrengement settings in manilla and unchek and chek again contact(mensen) to see the tab in manilla,just one time is enough!:)
give it a try im waiting on your good feedbacks :)

yes the BT problem is solved.
very strange the problems you have because i know many users working with this rom and no problems!
did you uninstall mortscript?dont uninstall this,very important!
just try to enter the bootloader mode,then plug in the usb and flash from pc.
look at first post they are 2 ways to flash the rom,try first bootloader then directly from internal storage.

edit: tested. For no reason the phone has rebooted itself (never happened before within two dozen flashes); the manilla clock dowsn't work anymore (stays at 20:12; now it's 21:13)...
For now it doesn't give me a lot of convidence....

I now use this final rom, and for me it is a better one then the Beta2 rom.
My sound works fine right now and the functions working great.

I just have one problem. When i get a text message i don't get a green/grey mention on my touch-flo menu. Does somebody know how to fix it?

i dont have problems with manilla hd,many other peoples to,depending on what you install in de future...
the only prob i have from 3 weeks on first install is freeze of clok 2 times bud its coming because i try many apps.
if you say i want stable manilla for 100% take sd.

Got a few questions (got 3.5 sd installed)

* I could unable internet over t mobile network before (2.8) but can't find it now, how do I unable it (have no internet in my gsm contrsct)

* the contacts page (persons?) seems missing in touchflo, I used that a lot, can I get that back or replace it in touchflo with yota?

* if I tick contacts it says it can't open yota, but I can start it using the browser, how can I fix this?

* is there a manual on yota contacts somewhere? Can it sync with a pc?

* after rom flash the 8 questions pop up but last only a few seconds and get interrupted by other messages, so I wasn't able to set it up the way I want to. Can I change those settings (like font/use yota etc)?

I need some time to get used to things I guess, lots of great improvements over 2.8!!

He Skippy thanks for the great ROM, i've had some problems installing it, first tryed the fast way......... but after the update it didn't install, i did a soft reset and then it kept hanging for servel times ad diverent moments.
I've also tryed the hd version, ( ruu install ) was fast and nice, can wait for the final, but after a soft reset i had to install de phone again and there was no batterybar on top.
Now running 3.5 final ( ruu install ) and works perfect.

- Sometimes when I edit something in my TF3D it won't load anymore. It doesn't matter what I do but I always have to run the softkey app to fix it(just a restart doesn't help.).
- I uninstalled YotaContacts because I have all the nrs on sim and that app doesn't show my contacts, now when I hit contacts I get the error that it isn't found(even when I change the softkey Contacts.) I can access it though Start>Contacts though, but I'm used to that softkey.
- The softkey app is confused :P it's thinking left = right and vice-versa.
- When I enable the show sim contacts in Diamond config it's set back automatically at restart of the phone. Allthough it can show it in the dialer. But I'd like to have the sim contacts in my contacts list :).
- Internet isn't working correctly. I can use it in opera though, but in apps it doesn't really work good... Like WMLive. When I sync my mail it stays the bar stays at 0, but when I check my phone later it's synced :confused: . Also when I connect to messenger it doesn't load my nickname and display picture.
This worked in the 3.2 version.

Also I read a message that the time hangs in TF3D, this is because a app is in front of the TF3D interface. I accidentaly left 'that thing in the top right corner to close apps' on and at 12:something (when I woke up sunday) it said 23:45. I also have an MDA compact IV NL and I have the same problem regarding editting TF3D. When I do that, I have a lot of trouble getting Touch FLo to work again. Overall the rom looks very nice. :cool:

Hey Skippy,

i've got some questions.

When i use wm messenger and sign in, it works fine. When i press x ( close ) normally the messenger stays signed in ( version 2.8 and 3.0 ), even when i use other programs. In version 3.5 i have too sign in each time, can this be fixed. ( had the same problem with the hd version )

Can you tell me if there is a way to remove programs such as tom tom, because after installing the compleet version i've got the icons twice

I think you should downgrade msn version skippy..
and I think that mortscript has a lot to do with alot of the problems in the above list...

is the manila hd more stable or faster or both than sd?

When I use Opera, it's closing automatic in Landscape view.

Portrait is no problem, but in Landscape it close.

Wanneer ik Opera start (standaard portrait) is er niks aan de hand,
tot dat ik de telefoon draai, zodat hij naar Landscape overgaat, sluit Opera zich zelf.

Hello,

I've a problem with the 3.5 SD,

When I use Opera, it's closing automatic in Landscape view.

Portrait is no problem, but in Landscape it close.

Is there anyone how has the same problem????

NLD, Ik heb een probleem met Opera in Landscape view.
Wanneer ik Opera start (standaard portrait) is er niks aan de hand, tot dat ik de telefoon draai, zodat hij naar Landscape overgaat, sluit Opera zich zelf.

Weet iemand hier een oplossing voor????

dit heb ik in alle roms gehad eigenlijk, wacht tot de pagina helemaal geladen is en ga dan naar landscape. volgens mij werkt t dan goed

This isn't the solution, when I go to another website, it is closing also.

Heb ook diverse andere ROMs gebruikt, en alleen deze sluit Opera in Landscape!?!?!, misschien bug in NLD versie van Opera.

i think mortscript is messing alot with the tf3d and other possible tweaks...
i'm now running a different rom and alot of the problems arent in that rom...

though skippy's rom was faster :) and more complete..
using udK now...

and msn is still having trouble with internet.. i think its just a issue of this version.. but can't seem to find a cab with the older version..

and can someone upload the cab for the claim ram app? cant find it..

I have used this rom for a couple weeks now, only i do have some comments:

- When i try to delete tomtom, yotacontacts and that batterybar. My clock won't show me te right time anymore, a softreset wont help.
- That yotacontact is a heavy program, it takes a lot of my battery and i can't delete it because my clock doesn't work anymore.

And another question, is there a windows program (for XP/Vista) so i can adjust this rom in windows and not on my phone. I really like this rom, and it's very fast and stable (if you don't delete anything). But when there is a program for xp/vista i want to delete the install cabs of TT and Yotacontacts.

just download the lite version then,why you download the sd or hd to remove these applications?

Thanks for the ROM.
Is there anyway I can reset the settings that where initially set with answering the 8 questions? G light is constantly shut down due to the automatic reset. (RAM release)

Ik gebruik deze ROM al een tijdje naar grote tevredenheid maar mijn Media Player speelt alleen maar intro's af. Dus naar 30 sec wordt het volgende nummer afgespeeld. Weet iemand hier een oplossing voor?

Verder heb ik altijd met 3.2 gedraaid en altijd perfect.

moet je reset knop indrukken en dan de <- knopje samen met de volume omlaag en dan kom je in de bootloader sluit dan de kabel aan tot er usb staat end an kan je zo custumRUU openen en de rom opnieuw instaleren..

Bedankt voor de tip. het werkte niet dus ik heb gezocht maar volume knop naar beneden en reset tegelijk en ingedrukt houden tot hij in bootloader is deed de truc :D. nu nog flashen and you saved my diamond.

Thx for the hint. When you want to enter bootloader i had to use the volume button and reset until he is in bootloader.

try to connect on you pc maibe you get a hd promp than putt

one original rom in you root of intern memory only the

nbh file rename like this DIAMING.NBH.

and follow this:

Now we're able to Flash Diamond Image without any APP directly from Internal Storage.


To Flash your Diamond simply follow these steps:

1. Connect Diamond to PC in Disk Mode
2. Rename your Image to DIAMIMG.NBH
3. Copy DIAMIMG.NBH to Internal Storage root
4. Put Diamond to "USB Trigger Mode" through holding VolDown+Back while pressing reset
- After a few seconds Diamond will ask you to flash DIAMIMG.NBH
5. Press PowerButton to start flashing
6.wait
7.dont touch anithing
8.follow
9.when ok
10.reset
11.follow

that's it, now you're done!

Hi Guys,

Great ROM this is, I really like the apps and the lay-out of the buttons!!

Still I would like to change / solve three items, I hope someone can help me.

1. When I op en Yota-contacts via the left-softkey I receive a meesage that tells me that the program isn't signed with a certificate but when I open it via explorer it works....:confused:
2. I always had the tab programs under the right softkey but I cannot change it now, someone knows how to do this??
3. I'm missing the peolpe tab and I cannot get it back, someone in the previous topics mentioned something about it but I don't understand this.

he was D.E.A.D. but... not anymore
there will come a SC4.0 version hes curently working on his bulletinboard.. when thats finished hes gonne work with the new rom

I think ive done it... My phone seems to react to nothin.... I installed this rom and everything seemed to install fine. After gettin the percentage bar it restarted and installed the other files... But after auto restart then everything went wrong. System didnt react to anything no matter where i pushed the screen (from top right to left bottom) Now when i try to restart the Diamond it only gives me the touch Diamond screen with them red letters and numbers in the bottom right corner... What can i do to fix this???? im desperate

also tried that < and volume thing but cant seem to work it...

after some better searching i found that i can open the boot loader by pressing reset and wolume down button at the same time... reinstalling phone again now... sorry for makin u all read this ;)

Hoi allemaal ik heb hem tijdelijk eraf gegooit wegens virus in de computer.
In CustomRUU.exe zit een virus mijn computer is aan het aftakelen.
Voor degene die hem toch hebben binnen gehaald gebruik de rom met een andere flash programma. Sorry voor het ongemak kwam er vandaag definitief achter. Het wordt zo spoedig mogelijk hersteld en tevens zijn we met een update bezig.
