Piccole guide in italiano per utilizzare al meglio le ROM IOR - MORNA...

1. FONDAMENTALE: Esegui l'Hard reset prima e dopo il flash per ripulire ben bene il chip

2. Guida per installare la rom dalla memoria interna (ci mette solo 2 minuti invece che 10 e ci sono molte meno possibilità di brick):

Se necessario rinomina il file RUU_signed.nbh in Diamimg.nbh, copialo (solo il file Diamimg.nbh) nella memoria interna (quella da 4 Gb) ed esegui questa procedura:
1. Riavvia il dispositivo ed entro tre secondi premi contemporaneamente VOL GIU' e il tasto BACK (quello con la freccia verso sinistra)
2. Segui le istruzioni a schermo e voilà il gioco è fatto...

3. GUIDA PER IMPOSTARE SSMAPA E CAMBIARE I LINK AI PROGRAMMI IN MANILA

Per prima cosa tappate su INIT... poi scegliete l'applicazione che volete cambiare (ad esempio poutlook per la rubrica classica di WM), spunti il box "Patch" e scrivi nel primo campo il percorso del programma nuovo (es. \programmi\XXXXX\XXXXX.exe), nel secondo campo cancellate il carattere $ e non scrivete nulla e nel terzo campo scrivete solo il percorso della cartella del programma (es. \programmi\XXXXXX)... tappate su "SAVE" e poi, nel tab successivo, su DEPLOY. il manila si riavvia e dovrebbe funzionare... se non va riprovate...

4. GUIDA PER AGGIRARE IL BUG DELLA 2.03 UFFICIALE RIGUARDO IL CONFLITTO TRA WLAN CON IP STATICO E CONNESSIONI GPRS/UMTS

Sono riuscito ad "aggirare" il problema del wifi con indirizzo IP statico.
purtroppo non è una soluzione totale perchè il problema è della HTC che non sa aggiornare a dovere i proprio dispositivi (medesimo problema sul Blackstone, anche se l'utente se la prende con le rom cucinate)...

La soluzione è installare l'applicazione Rstein.WIFIProfiles 0.0.5 (che allego): e creare 2 profili:
- Il primo lo chiamate come vi pare e lo configurate per il vostro IP statico. Importante è che l'opzione "Unattended mode" sia su no.
- Il secondo lo chiamate DHCP e lo configurate di conseguenza (anche in questo caso "Unattended mode"= no)

Il programma da la possibilità di creare dei link (dove volete) per i due profili di modo che possiate switchare da uno all'altro e quindi poter utilizzare tranquillamente la connessione GPRS/UMTS...

In attesa di una soluzione definitiva, spero di essere stato d'aiuto...

5. CHI VUOLE INSTALLARE I FOOTPRINTS (DELLO IOLITE) PUO' SCARICARLI DA QUI (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=478088)

6. GUIDA PER CAMBIARE COLORE ALLA SELEZIONE NELLO START MENU E IN MANILA (THANKS JACK1985)

ciao, posso dire la mia? io farei una 2.03 pulita, cioè senza terze parti installate... diamond tweak, pocket rar, etc... tutto via.

sono cab facilmente installabili in seguito da chiunque.

le uniche aggiunte che apporterei sono quelle che l'utente medio non riesce a fare da solo o che richiederebbero troppo lavoro, quindi:

- social engine (ormai tutti utilizzano facebook, quindi è ok)
- l'ultima versione di opera (però disinstallabile, come ha fatto shaks)
- netcf 3.5
- sql 3.5
- i soliti tweaks nel registro per velocizzare manilla

eliminerei invece:

- Adobe Reader
- Adobe Flash Lite
- SAPSettings
- HTC Streaming Media Player
- RSS Hub
- Java Jblend
- Sample pictures & sounds
- Transcriber
- RSS Hub
- BT FTP Browser
- OneNote
- PowerPoint
- Windows Welcome

i'm testing 1.0 12mb and here are my considerations:

- slide to answer is partially in english (imho you can remove that text)
- soft wheel is not working in contacts list, and maybe in other applications (i know there's a tweak, or a program, to make it working everywhere...)
- the new phone canvass, the "cover" i mean, is not transparent (transparent is nicer)
- can you rename "Aggiungi/Rimuovi percorso" in the meteo tab with "Aggiungi/Rimuovi città"??

To abilitate soft wheel you can set that parameter in diamond tweak...

- Adobe reader is available as a cab in some thread here in XDA, but if all of you want, I can include it in next release...
- Activesync issue is famous, all of us are waiting for a definitve solution
- Slide to answer/ignore problem will be solved soon...
- I don't use Tom Tom so I cant say you anything, I use navigon and it works great (with reduced lag), please tom tom user report feedback about this.
- You can configure all the events sound from sound settings...

Hi carbu! Everything fine with 1.1, only thing I noticed is improved stability on programs exit... in 1.0, they randomly crashed from time to time and often didn't keep settings. As usual, I applied some eye candy (taskbar icons), xboxmod TF3D HD (which rocks! :D), loads of programs and I'm really happy with that. No major audio problems (in MortPlayer, I use this one), no GPS difference from latest roms around here (it works with no lag, I mean!), just love for this piece of software! Keep it up man! ;)

What about try open your camera from the tf3d, and select the album from the menu in the camera, if the screens turns black. I'd have found a bug xD

5- You have to edit the windows/Start menu/programmi folder; you can do it automatically, after-flashing, with http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=20753 ... I've never created a rom, so i can't help you about it

You should do a post-flashing autoinstall with some optional cab (for ex. touchresponse, callhistory) and the corrected start-menu

I'll post as many feedbacks as possible

12- there's a too long ringing delay (1,5-2 sec), so we are not able to hear a single ring (in ITA "uno squillo"); you should work about it! (the "diamond tweak setting" is going to canghe automatically after some soft resets)

I don't know... you can try... all drivers in my rom are from italian official 2.03... so if it works on official, it must works on mine...;)

I made them as the old dialer. I think it's much better in this way.

What radio do you use? I'd never noticed this... from yesterday in the evening 21.00 PM to know i've 79% battery remainig...

This could depend on many situations .. condition of the battery / network gsm / radio etc ... but I do not think the Rom

Great ROM!!! Bug free!!! Stable and fast

Only one thing does not work: hide SIM contact from Diamond tweak nor from Reg Key change. :confused:
In Dib 1.30 works (based on the same 2.03 ROM). I only say for your information not for comparison.

I like "esplora file" extended mode (within many functions more) as already said by andreapappy.

Hi I've to install Morna 1.2 and I´ve gto a problem with my Diamond and need some help:
I´m using the Sonyericsson DS-980 as a Headset.
1. when I press the Voicedial-Button on the Headset I don`t hear the BEEP on the Headset which tells me to say the Name. Normally I hear the Name I spoke afterwords as a confirmation. But sometimes this doesn´t work! Anybody an idea what the Problem is?
2. When I press the PLAY-Button on the Headset the TF3D Player opens but I can´t hear anything(no Music). I can only hear Music with the Windows Media Player on the Phoe. Can I ell that phone somehow to Play the Music over the Headset from the HTC Player and not Windows Media??

This could be the solution to your problem (thanks Shaks)

Regarding question 1, which voice dial software are you using? the registry key here controls which app is launched when you press the voice dial button:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\VoiceCommand]
"Path"="full path to voice dial program"

Question 2: I think you have set the headset to wireless stereo manually each time you wantaudio routed to the headset
Otherwise you can use the following program to ensure all audio is routed to the headset: btmusic. This is a shareware app which expired in october but still continues to work just with a nag screen.

I use it with my car kit but that is not stereo. This will work in stereo as well.

I have found another setting problem: in obex inbox (which is only in english and in another unknown language, but not in italian) che path to save file is wrong and it gave me an error (no popup window, only a txt file in root "obexinbxex_cpl.txt"). The path is set something like "/storage card/ftp"... I have changed by myself, only to report to you...

first search your favourite iconset in the dedicated thread and than you:

1- Install SDKcert (attached in my first post)
2- Install Taskbar cab
3- soft reset

If you had some troubles with volume control, tell me and I will send you a fix...;)
