She battled 4th stage breast Cancer for 2 1/2 years...I wanted to share this with all of you ....66 years old. The cancer spread to her lungs , bones , blood , and the past 7 months her brain...hospice took over and she just wanted to come home, Hospice staff was so nice and helpful and helped with whatever we needed.
One of the things that this community has done for me was keeping my mind off of things....flashing rom's tweaking this and that....so this site has done wonders for me....thanks

Peace and God bless

I would like to say that time heals all.. But in the instance of a mother, It does not. You simply learn to deal with it better.

There is only one that you are born from, and if you were close, it will hurt always. The only thing I have found out that life does go on, and others around you need you.

Friends and Relatives will dissapear and lose contact, those here and those gone, but you must always consider that It is the only thing certain in life. It is a circle. you come, and you go.

In our beliefs, We believe that we are sent to endure life on this world, and then God calls us all back to be with him when it is your time.. be it short...or be it long..

Memorable dates will be hardest of all.. but you will get through. Those days will come.. and they will go.

You have our thoughts at this time.

Be Strong...But also have time to remember her...Do not put off your emotions.. It is best to talk to those around you, not act the "man that can handle it all" It helps no-one..and definatly not you in the long run.

I hope this helps you find peace as it once helped me...

Loss of Mother

Now that I am gone,
remember me with smiles and laughter.
And if you need to cry,
cry with your brother or sister
who walks in grief beside you.
And when you need me,
put your arms around anyone
and give to them what you need to give to me.
There are so many who need so much.
I want to leave you something --
something much better than words or sounds.
Look for me in the people I've known
or helped in some special way.
Let me live in your heart
as well as in your mind.
You can love me most
by letting your love reach out to our loved ones,
by embracing them and living in their love.
Love does not die, people do.
So, when all that's left of me is love,
give me away as best you can.

The passing of a mother is never an easy thing to come to terms with. Please accept my most heartfelt sympathy whilst you grieve. It does get easier one day at a time...one day at a time. Please take heart brother.

Thankyou so much for all your prayers....we just got back from making arrangements for a nice funeral and cremation wednesday into thursday...one of many things I've seen is that death is not such a bad thing....because my mom once was known as a cancer patient and now she is cancer free and is just mom again.

Thanks XDA for all your prayers
Peace
Mike

It is always sad to see a loved one suffer. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this moment of need. Look at it this way though, she is no longer suffering and is probably in a much better place where there are no wars or hatred, only love and peace.

May God Bless you.
