Yes, it's possible to receive free traffic info on the Trinity. I reviewed the GNS TrafficBox Plus (http://www.treoprotricks.com/post/2009/01/12/Free-RDS-TMC-on-your-mobile-with-GNS-TrafficBoxPlus.aspx) on an HTC Panther (Treo Pro) and this of course works on any HTC or Windows Mobile device. Enjoy!

Need some help here...

Just recieved the GNS trafficBox FM9 XL7000. It charges the phone so i know the mini-usb it comes with is standard.

However, on igo8 the application states 'NO TMC hardware found'.

Questions:

Is this working as GNS protocol?
How to configure a com port to receive the data?
What baud rate?

I tried auto mode on all 3 categories and get nothing.

Is there a special config I need to do in the trinity before?

Well that's a different device than mine. I have no idea what protocol is used, can you set it to external tmc or internal tmc receiver?
