Lost data recovery [Archive]

Hi all,

During synchronising my HTC Hermes 300 (T-mobile MDA Vario II) with PC I lost an important excel file. The empty folder on the laptop overwrote the PDA.
Is there any possibility to recover this file?
1. Is there any PPC recovery software for this?
2. Is there any software that makes it possible to see my PDA as a drive? (own memory of the PDA, not the extended memory card.) This would also help as I could use the recovery software on my PC and check the PDA as I check a drive.

you can use nueMassStorage and scan your rom using Active Recovery 7

Thanks for your quick reply. I try to do it but I have got a small problem with using nueMassStorage :confused: When I install it, USB - PC disappears from Start - Setting - Connection, so I cannot set it to MassStorage. :mad:
I restarted the PDA many times, but nothing changed. After removing MassStorage, USB - PC comes back.
How to go on?
