O2 XDA Orbit Upgrade

Please could someone help me out with upgrading my O2 XDA Orbit?

I've had the device from new for just over a year but I've never been able to update it via the "Windows Update" function within settings/system, I'm currently running ROM version: 3.4.206.2.WWE dated 18/4/07 and Windows version CE OS 5.2.1238 (Build 17745.0.2.3).

Ideally I’d like to “safely & reliably” upgrade it to WM6.1 but if that’s not possible then the latest version of WM6 with as many bugs fixed as possible, an idiots guide would also be appreciated!

I apologise but I’m on a really bad connection at the moment and it’s taking forever to navigate from one page to another, if this information is already available please point me in the right direction.

1. Remove your MicroSD Card

3. Start start_uspl.exe you must have a connection via Active Sync
4. Now you are able to Install any Artemis-ROM from this Forum ;)

As far as I know USPL (2.) only works with Windows XP

it's your own decision. There are also a lot of good Manila 2d ROMs, which looks like this

I actually have [wwe][5 Dec 08][wm 6.1_sheen_no_nonsense](clean) with SPB Mobile Shell
