okay, i have just some time now to make another ROM for all of you. This is another ROM for HTC Prophet, based on Lamson ROM(OS 5.2.19974) from PDAVIET.

This ROM is using new Upgrade Methode.. Make sure you have HARDSPL (Important !!!) your device.

At Extended ROM. Some Software installer are added. They are EsmertecJava, Opera Mini 4.2, Adobe Flash Lite, Transcriber Input,CyberonVoiceSpeed_Dial,Bluetooth Audio to push all sound.

How to access it. Using Resco Explorer or Total Commander.

Go to Extended_Rom\Program . And You will find it.

HARDRESET is as always recommended after flashing.


Free Storage around 46MB. Free Memory 23 MB.If you deactivate Touch Flo, you will get around 28 MB Free Ram Memory

Tested on G4 Device. G3 Device seems to have more free storage.

Wpa 2,
new design for windows media player. No sync time. Internet sharing should work.

Unfortunately, Internet sharing do NOT working as via USB so as via BT too.
The same error as in some other ROMs:
"Cannot connect for an unknown reason..."
Is there a solution how to make it works?

WITHOUT WPA2 Support


Funny that nobody neither tested, nor reported that announced WPA2 support is not working properly (both cases - in yesterday's WPA2 fix and in today's new ROM).

Symptoms: WPA2-PSK AES is setting OK in Commanager, after softreset wpa2 still working, but navigation in IE (with the beginning of the requsted page in the best cases) totally freeze newly flashed and hardreseted device; on the other hand Pigeon works fine.

I never use IE.I use Opera mini 4.2 for it. Because Opera Mini is the best Browser in my opinion. That's why I don't know about this Problem.

I test it and it looks, that you are right. It crashed some how.

Will try to find solution for it. But Opera Mini works well. Not crashed at all.

About Internet Sharing. I changed the modul related for it. But I already asked for reply, weather it works or not. On the first blue manila Thread.

The Best try Speedy Diamond instead. The best and suitable ROM for Prophet.

Or buy Diamond to have some fully function of ROM with Touch Flo.

as to Opera mini 4 - it just closed Emertec javabed on your Manila2, but i'll try again, if second flashing will change anything in wpa2 freezing the device. ;-)

total commander is in this ROM.

just write Extended_Rom and you will find the extended Rom.

varanus im having this weird problem, first time to ever happen, every hour or so, the device' clock is advancing by 15 mins alone. i have Chi-Thai secondtoday installed, along with resco audio recorder and manilla2d custom weather icons with homescreenpllus (battstatus). I always have these apps installed on every manilla ROM i tried, and this problem never seem to happen before.

Opera mini is a really good browser but the problem is we can't download a file with it. (JSR-75 not supported by our devices?) The download is automatically redirected on IE, and IE crash...

Does anyone knows a way how to change the default keyboard to the installed diamond querty. Because even if I changed the setting. Sometimes the default wm keyboards is displayed.

hi, wonna to report discovered oddities and workarounds.

the problem with wpa2 lies in Regional settings' change: not only IE, even standard Opera mini 4.2 stops working after it's change from default English. I'd tried different versions of Opera mini and Javabed, for Russian regional settings this one (http://opera-mini.ru/file/opera311.jar) works fine with this old Javabed (http://kpk.by/engine/download.php?id=160).

Varanusvincent, can you tell/explain how new wpa2 dll could be dependable from Regional settings?

when i on the wifi with a memory card in it (kingston 2gb & transcend 4gb) it hangs after 5 sec
i have tested on 2 set of g4 device.

it only works fine when i remove the memory card
anyone have the same issue

I think your wktask must be updated with new version because when i open sim menu that application cannot close ...and problem with opera mobile in extended_rom...cannot install

Very good rom, running fast and smoos.

but two problems:
1. internet sharing doesn't work, info: cannot connect for an unknown reason.
2. A chinese font named YaHei.ttf(size:4M) installed and sms can't be newed but can be replied.

WPA2 doesn't work. Somethings like weather update does, but when I try to sync over Wifi (even no WPA2) it freezes and I have to reset the device.

check this thread - there are a lot of responses about WPA2-AES instability: it slightly works, but NOT with IE or Exchange synchronization, even Pigeon or Javabed with Opera mini can freeze the device after a long browsing...

I've tried both HTC Prophet Diamond Edition 2 and HTC Prophet Manila Blue..
the first one work properly, but I prefer Manila interface (in which I couldn't send SMS, but only receive)..

Why when I try to send a SMS, it's immediately moved to "Outbox" folder, but not sent??
Is it possible to install manila interface on the Prophet Diamond Edition 2 rom??

I really like your ROM. But I have a strange issue with the Wi-Fi connection. When updating the weather, it freeze my S200 completely. Need to reset with the reset button. Same behaviour on Google Maps.
