i have a rw6828 a product of china and i tried to upgrade it to 6.1, but it got stuck in 60% then i took off the usb cable and i couldnt boot into windows, i stays in the startup screen.

then i tried to return back to the original ROM i downloaded from HP's site, "SP34053" but it gives me an error message after it get stuck in 57%

CODE 401: USB Communications Timeout

PLEASE HELP ME..... i've been looking an trying different solutions but i still get no luck at fixing my ipaq...

man! im still struggling to fix my rw6828 for days now, ive been reading from forums about solutions and all, but still no luck for me...

to think of it, i just bought this phone, after a day i decided to upgrade it's rom but it killed the damn phone... what a waste of money...

i still can go to bootlader mode, i still can power on the phone but it get stuck in the white and blue screen with hp logo, i waited for the whole night for it to load windows but still, NOTHING!

i also tried to hard reset it but it get stuck in that mode as well...

so many sleepless nights...

wish it would fix itself haha!

my bootloader version is PBL1.00.01

try SD card upgrade (USB never worked for me ), but keep in mind that you must use a small one SD (less <2 GB). I have 512 Mb for this purpose.

Sir Boril, i have an SD card from my nokia N80. it's a 128 mb but it still doesnt finish the updatet. i left it overnight and still it's in bootloader mode. i tried to borrow a kingmaxx 1GB card the same thing goes.

after waiting for so long i soft reset it then it goes to the splash screen, it shows a new ROM version but it stays that way forever. then i hard reset it, it also get stuck there...

im really confused right now on what to do...

do you think i still got hope?

try another version of the bootloader and rom... that just might work.

how does one HArd reset this phone hp 6828 because I was looking for an application "clear storage" cant see it anywhere
