Can't disable t9. Tried make hklm/software/tegic/et9/ime/carrierdefaulttextmode=0, no effect.
Bored pushing Fn-Space-3-1-Fn-Space-2 just to change the language.

Hmm serg146, in your first post is it to disable t9 or to change the default language??? Because to change the default language isn't too difficult.

Ok, may be my english not good at all, i'll try again...
Every time i want switch layout to another language(layout?) (rus/eng) i had to press 7(seven) keys: Fn-Space-3-1-Fn-Space-2. Last 3 keys switching xt9 mode to ABC. I'm totally hate t9 and never used it, i've got qwerty keyboard, i can't get what for t9 there. But i have to switch it off every time.
So, i want my phone to switch language(layout) by less key presses. At least 4. That's why ABC mode should appear instead of xt9 after switching language (layout).

Hhhmmm...strange, yesterday I changed this value and T9 was gone on my Wings. Are you sure the value is set to 0? ;)

i know, texinputmode already set to 0, anyway, i tried again - no sense. Seems like i'm doing something totally wrong. I'm also get used to switch 'abc' mode from 'xt9' by pressing '*' on numeric keypad, that's a little faster, but what i really wish is to switch languages by 1 ot 2 key pressed, like on pc.
