hi every 1 ...

here is the situation i'm in:
i tried to upgrade my HTC Touch Dual with an HTC Touch official ROM ,i prosed with the operation but it did not complete for an error then my phone was stuck on the three colors Screen after that I've reseted the phone ( hard reset ) by pressing the call ,end call ,power and reset buttons all together and here...i realized that i made a disaster because that my phone is not starting and make no response on the screen and it's totally black and when i connect it to the PC ,the indicator light led torn's red!!! and the PC dose not see it i tried to hard reset it again it didn't work.

Please help me ....

hey m8 i had this problem b4 also i just ran a different rom whilst it was in the tri colour screen and it was all up and working again.

Thank's 4 the fast response bro but the problem that is when i flashed the phone with wrong ROM i had the tri color screen but after that i hard reseted the phone as i described above and the phone went died and red lid light indicator on USB cable.

have you tried to enter the bootloader?

yes i did if it mean's pressing the camera and the reset button together but i learned this method in an HTC Touch thread replay so if it's the same (pressing the camera button and the reset button by the styles) it means that I've also tried it and did not work. and please ,if there is any other way to enter the Bootloader just feel free to tell me about it cuz i think that when i get the tri color screen again i will able to flash the phone with official English ROM of WM 6.1 that I've downloaded from the HTC site unless there is some thing that i don't under stand.

I did use the method (pressing Power+Camera+Reset) and I've got the tri-color screen the PC saw the phone and I've got the "USB" text on the phone screen then i started the ROM upgrade utility then i noticed the text under the tri-color is changing once "Serial" and another "USB" and so on until it stay's on the "Serial" and the upgrade utility show's an "Exit" button ,i press it ---> it exit's!!!.then i just disconnected the phone and reconnected it to the USB the tri-color showed the "USB" text then i started the ROM upgrade utility and got the same results.then i soft reseted the phone by the styles and get back to the same old situation ( black screen and red led on connection) and the phone is not entering the tri-color mode using the same method using the same method u linked me in ur last replay (pressing Power+Camera+Reset)!!!!!!!!

What should i do ...
please help me coz no one to ask near me and we have no HTC center here in Iraq and it look's like that i'm the only one who carry an HTC phone in my hole country!!!

It's some kind of a progress .. right..but what's wrong ?? Q/ is the ROM ?? A/ I downloaded it from the official web site and it's for the HTC Touch Dual...then what????
Please do not let me down ... my hops are only on ur experiences.

The phone is locked to a particular phone company. You'll need to unlock it first. So, a bit more work needed. Follow this thread. but make sure you read it carefully:

Ok now...here is the situation:
as u advised ,i went to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=395945 and it say's in (1.) that i must have a HardSPL 1.15 MFG installed (i have SPL 1.18 installed) then i went to the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=355730 to get the HardSPL 1.15 MFG and i've found it but here is the problem:
in step (4.) i have to install sspl 1.16 nike.exe by copying it to the phone memory ,but i only managed to enter the tri-color screen and i can not copy any thing in to my phone so who am i gonna install it??? then i saw the other attached files flash-hardspl-niki.zip and flash-splash-niki.zip and all others ,what i get when i start the utility after unzipping the attachment is error in connection and the bar stay's on 0% and start the recovery system....
by the way ...all i see on the tri-color screen is the following:
RUUNBH on the right upper side of the screen.
NIKI 100 ,SPL-1.18.0000 and CPLD-4 on the upper left side of the screen in the red bar.
USB of Serial in the bottom wight bar.

what i get when i start the utility after unzipping the attachment is error in connection and the bar stay's on 0% and start the recovery system....
by the way ...all i see on the tri-color screen is the following:
RUUNBH on the right upper side of the screen.
NIKI 100 ,SPL-1.18.0000 and CPLD-4 on the upper left side of the screen in the red bar. USB of Serial in the bottom wight bar.
From this point, we know you have SPL 1.18 on board, with a locked ROM to a phone carrier.

Best advise I can think of is to get the official ROM from the carrier and flash that. It will get you back to starting point

After that, copy SSPL 1.16 to phone, and run that on phone, followed by falsh to Hard1.15MFG before trying to unlock the phone.

the phone was sent to me from Holland (Netherlands) and when i was turning it on on startup it show's a logo of number (1) or something like that.
so please can any one tell which carrier is that and where to find it ????

try to find your phone's original country in following website.

then, you can know which language rom is suitable to your phone, try to find it.

flash the original rom

everything will be ok...

Thank u 4 ur help Justsun i really pretiate ur help i found this link qaite helpfull and i managed to find the original carrier which is KPN and it's in Netherlands, the problem is, i do not understand any word in the web site because it's not in english and some how it look's like that there is no traise for the ROM in the site.
so please any one can help me with providing a link for the original carrier ROM of KPN or send it to my email or just any any thing just i'm feeling so disperet ...

you can go to www.htc.com then find suport, use your sn, you can download the original ROM. flash it first, then flash other rom which you need.

Thank u Justsun ,i just solved it by the help of Homerh and now i have the original ROM on my phone and by the way , i did not flashed it ,Homerh teached me how to restore the original ROM on the phone using the mtty and that's it. now i'm looking for a ROM that support Arabic for my HTC Touch Dual ,if u can help me find it ,i'd be pretiated.
