Hey I found another ROM on PDAVIET and have been using it for a day now and seem like a good stable rom so I thought I'd share cause I didn't see it already posted.

You need 1.58.xx.xx or 1.64.xx.xx Radio ROM not 1.59.xx.xx

You can still edit your post in order to loose the useless stuff.
And since this ROM is postet in Polaris section of this forum it obviously is for Orbit 2

Very Fast Rom with a LOT of applications.
I have an HTC Touch Cruise ...
I put the MURATA Polaris Radio v1.58.21.23, Nav-N-Go v8.3.2.64873.
Signal, Bluetooth, WiFi ... Everything is working FINE. Tested with Nav-N-Go ... very fast. 3G and Video calling works FINE too.

The only bug i found is that you can unlock the phone with any key (Not ONLY the Power button). If someone knows a solution please give a hint.

I think is the best ROM so far.

There appear to be 2 Polaris versions Polaris-100 & newer Polaris 200 which is why I asked. I was [and still am] worried as it doesn't specify which version ROM will work with. I am newish to this but have successfully flashed ROMs before.

edit the following registry key HKCU\ControlPanel\Keybd\DefaultKeyLock
change the value from 0 to 1

Doesn't play videos. I get a black screen. I am using radio 1.64.
I initially had the no camera problem too, but 1.64 fixed that.

... Install the SDKCerts first and then the Italian KB.

This ROM is the BEST :) .

I found 1 problem and i need 1 thing.

Problem : When you push button near "record button" up or down one time its shows screen to change volume of ring or sytem , then when you push it one more time up or down its should change the volume but it exits to today screen and move selection bar up or down.

Need : Please somebody give a link to .cab file with keyboard COMPACT QWERTY and FULL QWERTY , i have looking 2 hours and i cant find it on xda forum.

I liked this ROM it's fast and has a lot of interesting programs. Too bad it's not working with the 1.59.x ROMs. I liked an application in particular, the digital battery meter. Do you know how the applicatiob is called or where can I get it from ? Thanks in advance

Hi Guys, i already try this ROM on my HTC Cruise,its worked like a charm,
the first problem is the camera won't turn on,so i decided to reflash my radio rom to 1.58.21.23 but i have a problem with the signal receptions, my question is,does anybody out there already try 1.58.25.14 with this ROM ??

Nice ROM but 2 bugs I've found.
1.When device is on sleep mode all buttons aren't locked. Screen is off but if I push any buttun device would wake up. Key lock setting doesn't work.
2. Terminate Data Connection function doesn't work.

One more bug. USB to PC doesn't work in disk drive mode. It says that memory card is not in device but other progs are able to recognize memory card.

I tried this rom on my O2 Orbit 2 and the rom install utility just stays at 0% and does nothing. The progress bar on the phone also shows 0%. I then tried the from from 02 and that ran fine. It doesn't make any sense.

Anyone have any ideas's ?

I am in china.

I installede this rom and chinese font nls.

It's display number ,english word but chinese word at touchflo message tab.

When I click message at touchflo mseeage tab, chinese word display normally.

My Polaris doesn´t want connect with PC over the Active Sync, could help me somebody??? When I connected HTC to USB asked me Actvie or Internet so I gave Active after waited for start Center Win Mobile and nothing is work. ????

alright so i've got quite a list of problems...

first my weather wont always update and i don't know what to do to get it to work its a hit or miss situation... i have an unlimited data plan and i run on AT&T HSDPA i even tried on a wifi connection but it doesnt always work any suggestions???

next the youtube program doesnt stream videos when i select one to play but its streams when i go to the youtube website from a web browser

next all my keyboards from WM 6.0 are gone there is only this whack little qwerty key board who's buttons are impossible to press without the stylus

and finally what media formats are compatible with this phone cuz a lot of my songs and videos dont play =(
