Just little info about the rom
This rom is verry much the same as my last upload
I've upgrated the build to CE OS 5.2.21109(build21109) much more responsive and stable
There are 2 Camera albums in the rom Why?
The default album is the one from Jade and works as it should
the second is from Blacksatone and the folder preview (with all pictures is a bit messed but single picture preview is perfect but only portrate) but this one has the option to upload pictures to Facebook and video to Youtube. I'm shure there will be a fix for this soon
I've called the Blackstone version Album Uploader. I've uploaded 2 pictures to my facebook so I know it works

I've also fixed the battery indicator

This ROM can be dumped and recooked. Unlike many of the cooks, no RGU have been deleted. No DSM has been deleted. And most of all, the ROM has not been crippled against dumping by deleting IMGFS signatures. So feel free to dump and modify upto your taste. And share the knowledge with the community. We can improve more by sharing the knowledge than keeping it secret.

Ok for next version

I have all apps from Iolite on my Polaris now and need to deside what to keep and what to dump.

Footprint seems to me to be a totaly useles app for everyday use. It's only nice whan traveling and you need to find back to a location... but but .. how often do we go on vacation to the same location.

the best future of in the new Manila is the sliding in the music tab that lets you slide into the song.

The Navipanel works but not when plugin car charger in yet prob just a dll I've not included.

TomTom also seams to work but I don't have any maps for my country

Hi,
I need to be able to view(browse and write in hebrew language pages
when i tried using Opera in a previous ROM it did not worked well it shoed the hebrew in reverse and had problems with it.
I could not find anywhere within Opera settings an option to change langugage or change text direction.
Can you help me ? i dont want to be able to have to use only IE ROMs and in all Opera seems to be much better...

Thanks for the ROM, but I´d really like to see a new Lite ROM with Opal stuff but without M2D (to use it for ThrottleLauncher).

I used the last version (II), very happy with it, excellent ROM, the only problem I had was the word "Calendar" (underneath "Call History") would dissapear off the front screen, no matter what I tried I could never get it back, also the "ThumbCal" would then dissapear from the left soft key, being replaced by "Phone", again, no amount of setting with M2D could get them back. Oh, and it wouldn't happen at first, like would be after a day or two, maybe even a few days, strange.... maybe I should have tested to see whether it happens only after I ran M2D, even though I never altered that settings, hmmmm.

Anyway, anyone else experience this? or more importantly, anyone experienced it on this version 3?

Most bugs corrected, for me still didn't started Opera Mobile, in M2D interface just after I choosed as the default browser and linked it to OperaL.exe from /windows directory.
Camera still doesn't has autofocus, but after installing camera from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2700919&postcount=3 autofocus is working again...

After using version II is was happy to move to III but was very disappointed.
To many problems.

After first problems
-installed for a second time after a full clean even worse after a soft reset.

Symptomes:
- Programs corrupt, installed in memory and m-SD card
- Settings disappear
- m-SD unable to read
- refuse to charge / indicator below 50% but know for sure battery was full

I am using radio 1.59.44.02. Now back to version II and works like a charm with the battery and camera fix.

Is this just my device or anybody else experience the same problem?

This rom is working great on my Cruise with radio 1.59.44.02, none of any problems you mentioned. :confused:
Comparing to other roms available in this post at the moment, I like this rom the most. As fast as KhanX V2 rom while having more operating memory. The only minor issue is the Encription always on.

I have flashed Every Rom that has been posted here..
This is simply THE FASTEST!
Only thing that I din't like, is the black color theme, and the missing 3g dialer.
Changed the theme to blue m2d, and added udk's 3g original dialer... working perfectly.
I'm now working on making a m2d blue theme for 3g dialer and everything will be fast and BLUE! :D
The problem is that you loose a lot of mb in changing themes...
so Gullum we want a 3G BLUE VERSION! :DDD

Ok now I've been playing with the Footprint for 2 days and I don't see the usefullness of it. I might make one rom with it included and thats it. But the new version of manila 2D seams much smoother and the music tab is musch better too.

at the end when i reecoock the rom i have always crash problem in thr kitchen.

I just tested this rom,it's good. I think there's a problem. Analog clock can't be loaded. when I choose show analog clock in manilla 2D options, it restats the Program, but still there is the digital clock. good work though. keep up! ;)

i m anaged to resolve the soft menu issues....

basically i think manilla 2d is overlaying its own menus over and above that the soft menu app does.

To resolve, go intot settings, and find the soft menu app. Delete any entries it has for the soft menu buttons. THen go into the manilla2d config and edit its options for the soft meus to what you would like, in my case thumbcal and contacts. then soft reset and everything will launch perfectly.

Concerning the analogue clock.... i have found that some options on the manilla2d config including the analogue clock will cause the spinning wheel to come up indefinitely with no way of closing the application. A soft reset will prevent manilla3d from being loaded at startup. To resolve this go into settings, today and add manilla 2d back onto the list of things that appear in thte today screen.

The Album in this ROM was SUPER SMOOTH, but the thumbnails were all coruptted otherwise I would have kept this ROM, any chance of an updated version with footprints?

Hey gullum,

great ROM, i just have one comment regarding the MMS setup. I noticed quite quickly that although i could send MMS after i had run the setup wizard my operator (o2 in the UK) was resizing the image contents from 200k+ to 10k etc. The problem is with the registry entries for the User agent profile and the x-wap-profile. As far as i am lead to believe these are part of the headers for MMS. If o2 sees a header from a phone it does not recognise then it will resize mms.
I realise this rom is for polaris and not the orbit2, but i guess there maybe some operators that do something similar with MMS. Is there anyway during setup you could preset these values based on the auto setup?

Very nice Rom. Using it over a month now. No problems at all.
1 question: Autofocus. This didnt work in the beta and still doesnt work in the final version. I dont see anyone complaining bout this. Also u dont mention it as a known bug.
Is this problem related to my radio or does everyone has this?
And offcourse, can it be fixed?

This has to rank a one of the wierdest errors reported in a rom build but...

When I use Opera Mini it logs me in as myself in normal view but in mobile view it logs me off and in as a "frankmoneylv" user id!!

If you dont believe me, check the deleted posts in the Android thread :confused:

No matter what I do, it still logs me in as this user each time!!

I'm going to install a fresh version of Opera Mini to overwrite it as I cant even see anything I can change in registry and mini is ideal for browsing xdev. Full Opera renders it horribly in mobile view and in full view theirs way too much panning required.

Anyone else experiencing this or it just me which would be even wierder!

Actually i have the same issue. In Opera mini i set igoogle as startpage. I noticed that when i tried to login i already was logged in. I dont recall wich account it was, but im almost sure it wasn't frankmoneylv. I could access gmail and other google account settings. But i didnt find the content interesting :) so logged in with my own account. Now i cant get back in, also cant find the cookie wich holds these account settings.

All in all, very very strange.
