Hi,

i have a strange problem with my HTC Orbit2 and Activesync Connections. If I plug in the usb cable, activesync connection is established. I setup the device timeout for extenal power connections to 6 min after backlight is turned off, but this settings have no effect? The backlight goes off after 1 min and the activesync connection immediately lost.

I use the latest M-Amine 2.0 WWE Rom and it runs great execpt the active sync connection and power settings. I tried to set different values in power settings , but they seem to have no effect. Activesync losts his connection every time after 1 min whatever I set in the power settings. What's wrong ?

Thanks in advance.

Is it maybe because you 've checked the checkbox to not charge the battery when connected to PC?

I've checked the checkbox to not charge the battery when connected. Does ist have a effect on the activesync connection in this way?

I also have S2U2 installed but no matter what I set on the external power tab, the HTC always shut off after 20 sec and stops the active sync connection? Is there any registry settings wrong in the M-Amine 2.0 WWE Rom? Who can help. I don't believe that I'm the only one with this problem.

Who can help

Yes I had this problem too on this ROM when I checked it out, very annoying, also had it with another ROM too, cant remember which one, the solution for me was easy, I changed ROM.

MY problem is the same. For me it does not matter if I have checked "do not charge when ppc is connected to PC". But what I must do before any active sync connection is disable on advanced battery tab "turn off device if not used for..." on battery power section. Then it is functional and active sync (respectivelly mobile center from vista) has connection withou any lost. I am using M-Amime 2.0 RTM (not final) with all updates on my cruise.
