Version 2 Beta - Is BacK

From many days been very busy with CR86 THD ROM's developments so was unable to continue CMac ROM's. But now CRMac is back with WinMo 6.5 build. However its a beta release and I request your feedbacks. This version is a basic mean that it doesn't contain many apps and of course some of you might like clean and naked ROM's....... As usual the description is below, Please read it before downloading, flashing and using the ROM.

* The ROM is already in DSIP edition so if you need EzInput then use the switch it.

For SoftSPL Users :

Bin folder is hidden in the package so first you should enable "Show hidden files and folders" in folder options and then copy the nk.nbf from the bin folder.

For HardSPL Users :

Just run the welcome shortcut or enable "Show hidden files and folders" in folder options then go to bin folder and run RUU_GO.exe.

Welcome shortcut is only for hardspl users. NOT FOR SOFTSPL USERS

Q. Warning and installation notes

Before you run the RUU or flash the ROM, make sure you verify the following first:

USB sync cable isn't damaged or malfunctioning.
FLASHING VIA ACTIVE SYNC : USB sync cable is connected to the phone from computer, to establish an ActiveSync connection with the computer.
FLASHING VIA BOOTLOADER OR 3 COLORED SCREEN : USB sync cable is connected to the phone from computer, and USB is shown at the bottom of the screen ( Device/HTC Wizard ).
No other usb interface device(s) are/is connected to computer, except keyboard and/or mouse.
The standby and hibernation modes or settings are disabled on computer.
All running applications on the computer have been closed.

Do not interact or use your device ( HTC Wizard ), unless instructed to do so.
Do not remove the USB sync cable from device while flashing, unless instructed to do so.

Q. If I select any language except english in language listbox, The EzInput will not display any words or the EzInput will not work.
A. Due to less space I have deleted all the language files except english in the ROM. So you need to install the required language from : here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2735963&postcount=4) or here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=426281).

Q. Which device I need, to use your ROM's.
A. You need HTC Wizard only. No matter if its G3 or G4.

Q. Which OS I need to flash your ROM's to my device.
A. W i n i d o w s X P is must for flashing. Don't try in other OS's, if so you will surely kill your device.

Q. I am getting this warning message when I will be synchronizing in w i n d o w s v i s t a. The warning message is : "There has been a change made on your server that requires you to re-synchronize all items on your device. All changes made since your last succesful sync will be lost. Do you wish to continue?"
A. This is due to flashing new a ROM and trying to synchronize, when the pc is already created partnership with previous ROM and it will fail to synchronize with newly flashed ROM. To fix this; Delete or end the partnership in wmdc and again resetup or create the partnership.

In simple words, CRMac is based on MAC or the iPhone. Future thing can be seen after releasing. Seem that I doing more hardwork to build this ROM. because there are lack of stuffs which are based on Apple, MAC or the iPhone so I need to do my own:)

I done it very simple because I did not got the correct apps to add so I made the today screen empty.

One in CR86 Touch HD ROM is phone canvas which is the advanced dialer. In CRMac v1.0 its the basic or the simple dialer. I designed it with some hybrid, found on this site. I don't know will it work or no, in CR86 Touch HD; if I make a cab. Anyway, I will try to make the cab......:)

Hi Ferficer, Do you know how to get that going like in the screenshot? I flashed CRMac and downloaded the iPhone theme by mtstmp, which is just a zip file with a bunch of .dat files. I copied the .dat files to the windows folder. Softrebooted but nothing happened.

You also need spb mobile shell v 2.1.2 . I am not sure where you get it. search the forum.

I have no idea about this problem but as per my testing, it worked fine. Testing I did was; I entered the number and taped on call (green) button and it worked. I tested this many time with no problem. Try hardreset, this is the only thing can do.:rolleyes:

Anyway, I will try to change this, in the next release.;)

Hi ive been using cr86 touch and i think you did great job. So i decidet to test CRmac and i think its even better coz i dont like manila, its quick and stable, s2u works great.
One think i neet to ask, will you change the on scren keyboard to Ezinput or something like that?

In CR86 Touch HD, I added EzInput but some of the user was not liking it so I haven't added in CRMac. OK, in next release I will add it and also I will make two editions. One with EzInput and second non-EzInput.

maybe u can cooperate with the creator or something :D

Will, thanks for your interest in my ROM's. There is a option to control the speed of Up/Down button. Go to settings -> buttons - Up/Down Control 'tab'.

I have already psshutXP. Press and hold power buttion and it comes top:)

Also Cracing one other thing. In your next release when you put in any Web based applications, can you try and make sure they function with the Tzone hack if possible? That would be wonderful. Thanks again for this Rom that many of us have been waiting for.

I have both .Net 2.0 and 3.5.
When I try to reinstall .Net 3.5, it said that .Net 3.5 has aldready exist in this ROM :confused:, so I think you've add .Net 3.5 into this ROM :(

Yes I added .net 3.5 into the ROM and don't know why this error is getting. Try hardreset.

With SKTool and Memmaid, I've reinstalled .Net 3.5, and now, I can use Advance Config :D

Wifi is working and advanc config is working too. but the only problem is when using s2u, the answer key does not work and even when the device is suspended and a call is recived the answer key or the answer function/touch/slide is also unresponsive.

No, I haven't forget but the only problem I am facing is; there are lack of apps based on iPhone or the MAC. So I stopped to release ROM's of CRMac.

If anyone know the better app which matches this ROM; Do post the link here.........:) Its will be easy for me to cook and release the new version ROM's.

A little better than THD although I have realized that in THD if you are pressing with your thumb in just the right position it will close everytime. I think touching it is slightly different than in previous roms for the thd. 21500 seems pretty good so far.

I think X and Ok issues was due to 21202 build and it is solved in 21500. And as of new style lockscreen which I was removed from the ROM and I was not knowing that there is a option in settings. :)

However I will solve these and will release the beta 4 ROM of CR86 THD soon.

To change the soft keys, Do this :

In registry ( for right soft key ) -

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\CHome\CClock

SK2URL is the url and SK2TEXT is the text.

In registry ( for left soft key ) -

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\CHome
SK1URL is the url and SK1TEXT is the text.

Hard reset was not helpfull. Still having the white background instead of sim input.

first of all, thanks for that great ROM, it's very fast and functional, but I noticed a problem with the "ri-dial" function that works in all other Rom's. after I've done a call, I'm not able just by touching the "dial" button or also touching the green onscreen "call-button" to call my last dialed and/or called number.
Can you tell my how I can fix that bug?

Yeah, sorry about that. The source we got ( XIP/SYS ) was having timebomb and due to busy with other works, I was unable to release newer version of CRMac with timebomb fixed or patched. However I will try my best to release newer asap.

At present, please flash different ROM of your choice except CRMac v2.
