Diamond Car Charger, CC C100 or CLM10D-050?

Good morning Gents! Looking for a suitable car charger for my Diamond the HTC website pointed me to the "HTC CC C100", which I immedeately ordered by Amazon for a mere 10 Euros including shipping. Well, to my surprise the delivered car charger has the designation "HTC CLM10D-050", which also can be found floating around in various online shops. Both seem to be genuine HTC products, so what's the difference after all? Thanks for any insight, and have a great day guys!

on similar subject, i have a car charger for Garmin gps and it charge my HTC Diamond no problem, wondering if it will damage the diamond battery for long use?

as long as the energyvalue (i.e. 800mah) isn't greater than the one of the battery it should be alright.
