how to unlock SonyEricsson W595?

Thanks, it worked, and in Chinese now. But there is a problem that the MSN live messenger which was included in the phone is gone, I can't even download MSN messenger from the link that 3 sent to me. it says "operation failed"

Does anyone know how to solve this problem, or where to download the latest MSN live messenger? thanks

On my god :( It was branded on H3G before flashing ?

Thanks. Yes, it's on H3G, I flashed the new one, but MSN messenger still cant be downloaded. The orginal one had 3planet on it, this one doesn't. maybe it's an old version?

This H3G version doesn't have 3explore and Planet3
so, i cant use 3's MSN messenger anymore
do you have the version with Planet3?

hi,, i'm planing to get the w595 from 3 aswell, but also want it to be able to read,write chinese. I am not very good at this flashing and unlocking business. But i always hear there is a chance that the phone will screw up if something goes wrong?? Could someone please just give some brief steps and explanation to how i can unlock the phone??

To unlock the Sony Ericsson you can use the Unlock code,that is simple and secure...You can get the unlock code from here Mobileunlocksolutions.com (http://www.mobileunlocksolutions.com/sony-ericsson-w595/rs1wp9/) and unlock it from network lock....you can follow the instructions below and unlock it step by step....


Warning : Do not enter any wrong unlock codes on your Sony Ericsson W595 mobile phones. If you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your Sony Ericsson W595 mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.

1 - Switch ON your Sony Ericsson W595 without any SIM Card,
2 - Press the left arrow key/button once,
3 - Press the button * twice,
4 - Press the left arrow key/button once,
5 - The message "Personalize with MNC2" will appear, (or you will have displayed an unlock menu, select the lock you want to unlock)
6 - Enter the Unlock Code.
