Trouble flashing new ROM to a HTC Touch Cruise

Hello everyone,

I have a HTC Touch Cruise which is in Dutch. I have tried flashing several WM 6.1 ROMS (3+) and all have failed when the progress is starting, at 0%.
The error was the same : 260 unable to connect

I have tried from XP+ActiveSync and from a Vista notebook, with the same errors.

Do you have any thoughts?

When you plug the usb cable does it say connected in windows mobile devices center?
If not you should try disabling the windows built-in firewall or any other firewall installed. Disabling the antivirus application could help too.

It is connected (both in Windows Mobility Center under Vista and Activesync under XP).
Antivirus was killed in XP, and the Vista one had no firewalls or AV.
