Is this O2 Orbit worth Repair Costs?

The phone is showing multiple symptoms, even after a hard reset.

1. It is not holding a charge, even after buying a new battery. It charges, but the charge drains quickly.

2. The phone shuts off without warning, even when there is still a charge.

3. The screen occasionally becomes distorted, with lines or blocks of color showing before it shuts down, although sometimes it shuts down without the screen distorting first.

4. Sometimes the phone will not boot up at all. Sometimes it boots up only to the splash screen and then shuts down. Sometimes it boots up past the splash screen but then the screen starts showing lines and the phone shuts down.

5. At times the phone works normally (except for the constant battery drain) for up to 30 minutes at a time.

I don't know if this phone is worth taking to a repair shop or if it just needs to be replaced. Money is tight so I need to make the most economical choice. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong with it and if it's repairable? :confused:

some how i dont think its worth repairing.

You can probably pick one off ebay for around £80 and you could probably also sell the old one off on ebay as faulty for say £20, hence an outlay of £60

so your repair costs(i.e labour + parts) assuming phone is fully ok at the end off it all will have to be <= £60 imho

somehow I think u should cut you losses
