Windows Mobile 6.5 anyone able to port it to our dear wizard?

I was just browsing thru the blue angel forum and I noticed tht they had a Windows 6.5 version rom out. Yes I know its a beta version but still im hoping someone here can port it to the wizard so we can give it a try. I would post a link but im using opera mini hence can't copy it still though its a sticky first thread on the windows 6 sub-forum of the blue angel forum.

Im sure there is aw ay to get a working camera.. there is another camera app that works on the wizard (cool cam) that might be a halfassed replacement.

I would like to see this rom ported and a kitchen too :)

sure some stuff might not work, but whare there isa will there is a way!

Im not an expert and not very fluent in development on WinMo but

why wouldnt the camera be working for 6.5, wouldnt the app be backwords compatible

or is it a driver issue or something?

From what I have read, the menu has a honeycomb structure will looks real neat and is supposedly more finger friendly. Here is a link with couple of screenshots :

I am also not understanding what is the difference. I just ported the XIP/SYS and got the build 21139 and WM6.5 pro. Thats all......

May we haven't got the fully wm6.5 source for porting. Or its fake:p

Hey, do you understand what them talking about? The ROM in your link is a wm6.0, not wm6.5.

In fact i have read that WM 6.5 is not released yet, even most people said a HTC phone was stolen with the WM6.5 last week in a special convention about PPC, PDA and other stuff.
Anyway microsoft denies the stolen phone, HTC does not said anything so
IN FACT THERE IS NO WM 6.5 OUT THERE!!!

It is my understanding that there won't be a wm6.5 as the wm7 is due for release early 2010. Now, I heard this thru unofficial sources so it could be wrong. As it turns out, the Touch2 has been or will be released with 6.5. My bad.

i just wandered, did u have a g4 or a g3?

i downloaded a chinese 6.5 rom from rapidshare (linked somewhere in here)
i am from the uk, so the chinese rom was just for a preview, :-)
im had issues flashing rom , & got it to work but cannot use it due to the language, but the ui looks great
but i need it in english :p

i wanted to ask 2 more things if thats ok
can i have a copy of this rom u have ported? (possibly without ipl/spl)
and also the ruu u used (if u didnt use the oss flasher) please?

No , actually it is I have 5 different wm 6,5 for wizard and both of them in chinese the only problem I faced with them is sms bug .Device get sms but do not show the sms.You can receive all waiting text messages when you connect your device to pc via activesync.Device shows you have XXX text messages on today screen.I asked about how to fix this bug but in chinese forums they said they don't have any issue with text messages.If there is anybody who can fix this I can provide download links for wm 6,5 new build which is 21189 (latest build).Rom cookers pm me for the links !!!

No..no way it is faster then WM6.1...its buggy and is alot more slower :( and it has only 20MB free RAM without running Manila2D ;)
