I have a strange thing happening.
I didn't notice when this change happened, else I would revert any changes and now it is too late and I need to patch things up.
When I first got my Touch Pro, I think the factory setting was to show the battery in the top bar. This of course happened always, TF3D or no TF3D (for example in Programs). Normal? Normal.
After some tweaking I installed a different battery graphic (more colorful) and I tricked the system (I am not sure how any more), to show battery when I was in TF3D (where clock is not needed because of TF3D's huge own clock), but to show clock on the other non-TF3D pages (again for example Programs folder). OK? Nothing really special.
What is my current situation that I need to fix: I can have clock or battery on my topbar when I am in TF3D (or in Today - so don't think it is related to TF3D and forward me to another section), depending on the registry setting I touch, but I HAVE LOST FOREVER clock (or even battery) reading on topbar, away of Today!!!
How can I fix this???
Using Diamond Tweak or Tweaks2K2, I can switch to have battery or clock on topbar, but NEVER shows away of today!
I know the related registry keys:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell:
- ShowTitleBarClock 0 or 1 (0 shows battery, 1 shows clock)
- TBOpt which seems to be related to what kind of clock (if it also has date I think)... but I am not sure if this is the key that has the problem...
Plus in:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\TaskBar
there is a key that had
LimitedClock with a... control character in (!)
...which I eliminated, but made no difference...
I can give you screen grabs if needed but I think I am clear enough.
Help???
I want clock to show in all my topbar screens and if possible battery in Today (and TF3D) - and I know it is possible because this is how I had it for months... but priority is to get clock back in all screens.
