Hello!
Please, help me! I am trying to install WM 6.1.4 emulator. I need this to test a website I am designing for mobile devices.
The problem is that I can't make Internet Explorer work. I am trying to follow this steps HERE (http://download.microsoft.com/download/0/1/2/012bfbba-9fe5-4e68-86c9-d434446d97dd/Localized%20Emulator%20Images%20Readme.htm), but I am having troubles.
I have installed all software needed (Visual Studio 2005, Windows Mobile 6 SDK, Windows Mobile 6.1.4 emulator, Active Sync, Windows Mobile 6 - I tryed with this one too).
So I'm having trouble at step 3.1. I read the COM port configuration from the status bar of the Cellular Emulator main window. That is COM 3. When I am trying to map that com to the Serial port 0, I can;t do that. The only com that I can select is COM 1.
The emulator works great, but I need it ONLY for internet access, so it is no use for me now.
Could you please help me?
Oh, and another problem: If I'm trying to make a connection following those steps there... I can't find all those settings. So I am unable to create a connection.
Thank you for your time, and, hopefully, for your help :D.
Laurentiu
