Titanium tutorial! By Cal-El & utopykzebulon! ( Thanks again to showaco ) (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=413393)

Ok first lets cover the basics, There are three files we are going to need to start with: First two are
the Titanium 240x320.cpr and the Titanium 320x240.cpr and tthe third is the bronzeres.dll.
The first two contain the values for the placement of icons pictures and fonts and the third contains what
icons are going to be used by the cpr file! You can find all three in the windows folder of your device!

Ok, if you look below you will see the first couple of lines from the Titanium240x320.cpr file, The value
we are looking for here is going to be in the fith row down called the Image ID="Image Default, This is the line we
need to change in order to alter the clear panel! The left is how many pixels the left edge of the panel will be from the
left side of the screen, Top stands for how many pixels the top of the panel will be from the bottom of the "condensed" panel
above it, Width is well the width of the panel and Height is is how many pixels high the panel will be! You are going to alter
these numbers to get things where you want them!

The first plugin we see is the "HomeHome Clock panel, there are two sets of values for each plugin, expanded (active) and condensed (not active),
the names are pretty self explanatory. Every plugin is made up of icons and text and just like the clear panel you need to alter the values
to place the icons on the screen and simply adjust the font size to fit what you want! To change fonts just search for fonts on google and find the one you want
download the ttf file and double click to find the true mane of the font (it may be different than the file name.) Copy the font name and replace where it says
"FontFamily" The color of the font can be adjusted by changing the color values FFFFFFFF being white and 00000000 being black!

Then we move on th the Bronzeres.dll. The first thing you want to do is go here http://www.restuner.com/ and download a trial of resource tuner, this will allow you to go into and view the
contents of the .dll file then google for some icons and go into resource tuner and begin to change out the icons for the ones you want!
Then use the file changer to navagate to the dll or cpr file you want to change and presto, you have made your own theme for Titanium!
The file changer can be placed on your SDcard but both files must be in the same folder!

I will continue to write more on this and I am sure as you and other get better at doing this we will see some realy cool stuff!
I just wanted to get started on the basics as I am sure most of you just want to get started!

ok, heres what i got so far, when the flash was done, i did hard reset, and after it all has loaded up there was no customization! As or right now the batter metter isn't reading right i had 86%battery life before flash, now after flash it shows 15%. but if you go into power settings the battery shows correctly. after the new home loads up no matter what the right soft key says it will only take you to your contacts. had to dissable the htc connections program because after every reboot it comes back up even tho it has already got my setting done for me the first time. Missing one thing right now i thought the new home had a clock tab? just now noticed that when you go into landscape the scroll wheel doesn't work and the hard directional buttons aren't correct to scroll, in stead of up and down in landscape you have to use left and right. but other than that the rom itself so far is very FAST & LIGHT, and is cosmetically beautiful to see.

OEM drivers - need to be kaiser
OEM apps registry - best removed and sort to packages
Operator packages - sort that one to just one autoconfig package
ALL BA registry settings need to go away they are messing things up like the sdcard

after that we can go on again and see what will need fix. :D

ok just found a BIG BUG the file explorer can't see me 8gig micro sd card.
Internet Explorer hard key won't open IE, even went to settings and buttons and reselected it and it gives error: "error opening the shortcut or loacting the target filename"

Try holding the Camera Button while pluging in the USB to a PC with the phone off. It should power on and enter the Boot Loader (Tri Color Screen) and allow you to reflash...

Try holding the Camera Button while pluging in the USB to a PC with the phone off. It should power on and enter the Boot Loader (Tri Color Screen) and allow you to reflash...

Just a thought but maybe it's a screen problem. The device might be up with no screen display. Does it show connect to ActiveSync or not? If it does, MyMobiler will work and you have screen on the PC. Good luck.

Did you try run hardSPL, just in start phone? I mean combination of three buttons: Power + photo + soft reset
Run HardSPL, then connect USB cable and flash new rom.

It helps me, but i dont know if its the same problem... Try it.

It is not there because it's the T-Mobile MyFavs App plugin for CHome, if you look at the registry it has one characteristic given the plugin name follow by another with the dll for said plugin. CHome followed by chome.dll CHome Wmp Plugin followed by chomewmpplugin.dll and Myfavs followed by cmhomeaddons.dll

EDIT: Btw I have a T-Mobile Dash and MyFavs does not work with Windows Mobile 6.1 Sliding Panels. So the fact that there is registry for it makes me wonder if it is the real 6.5 CHome...

@ALL: I FOUND A SOLUTION FOR THE STANDBY ISSUE GIVE SOME TIME AND I WILL UPLOAD IT; IT SEEMS THAT WM6.5 USES ANOTHER METHOD FOR STANDBY THAN wm6.:D:D:D

Here that worked for me, just copy the taskmgr.exe to the root of your device, and the shortpower.lnk in your windows folder. Then restart your device

I delete the file cause in post 2 utopykzebulon post a fix pack where it is included

One bug is missing shortcut for camera. Also, same issue for power off, seems when screen goes to suspend or selecting suspend causes screen to blank, but the power on doesn't turn it back on again. Have to reset to get screen back on.

I did try installing Nadavi5, but still gives message shortcut missing.

After installing camera, use explorer, go to \windows, find camera.exe and make a link of it; by press and hold on the camera.exe and choose "send shortcut to programs" . Go to \windows\start menu\programs and copy camera.lnk to \windows\Appbuttons

then the hardware button will work, if not go to settings --> buttons and set camera to hardware button 5

BTW, I've noticed that the keyboard isn't fully displayed in the contacts / phone: only the top key line and several keys at the right side ;-(

Secondly, contacts are now displayed only as last name, first name, and not as they are stored (for instance company, last, first)

But overall: this ROM is really remarkable / refreshing : just FANTASTIC !!

Hey Utopykzebulon, This is how bad that I couldn't wait til I got off from work to flash your rom. I used my Tilt to download the rom.rar then I use pocket rar to open it then I renamed the nbh file to KAISIMG and now I'm flashing it by sd card. I will report back my finding good friend

If someone of you noticed that some menus don't work, click the left soft button if finger menu is open, than click on add to exclusion list. In some apps finger menu doesn't work (had nothing to do with the rom)

Hello there, I just installed this rom and I must say I am very impressed. It is very speedy and stable as far as I can tell. I have been able to get everything working with the exception of my e-mail accounts. After first boot it asked me to set up my email, at which time I set up my personal gmail account. This worked without a problem. But when I go to try and add my second gmail account it does not allow me to go further than inputting my name and password, at this point the "Next" key does not go anywhere. I also can no longer change the settings in my original Gmail account. I have looked around at other rom posts with the 6.5 hybrids but have had no luck. Anyone else running into this problem? Is there a fix? If not then no biggie, as I can hard reset my phone to setup my other more important account if necessary, thanks for the help in advance.

Have to agree on the Home plugin as it has .cpr's in the .cab to which are used with WM6.1 SP's "for homescreen layout", never known a PPC use them, we can only wait for official release.

When I slide the keyboard out The D-pad is mapped wrong (dont ask y but sometime I use the d-pad when the keyboad is out)

Don't know if its an issue or not but with the today screen i cant drag the screen using the d-pad is the only way to get it to move to the next widget.

Happens with other stuf but mostly when serfing the net the phone would freeze for a while but then continue to work on its own

Again loving the look and feel of the rom can't wait till its 100%

I would just like to say even with installing the fixes, AND without ANY of the "turn off after XXX" settings enabled for both Power and Display, that my device goes into sleep and the power button won't turn it back on again. Even with LOCK disabled it still gets stuck sleeping... and so I can't turn it back on and the only way to get past this is soft reset... but the device works until I stop using it, and so when I put it down for a minute and come back to it... it won't turn back on from sleep. So I have to be actively using it all the time for it not to freeze on me, if I put it in my pocket and look at it a minute later its frozen in sleep mode. I would just like to say even with installing the fixes, AND without ANY of the "turn off after XXX" settings enabled for both Power and Display, that my device goes into sleep and the power button won't turn it back on again. Even with LOCK disabled it still gets stuck sleeping... and so I can't turn it back on and the only way to get past this is soft reset... but the device works until I stop using it, and so when I put it down for a minute and come back to it... it won't turn back on from sleep. So I have to be actively using it all the time for it not to freeze on me, if I put it in my pocket and look at it a minute later its frozen in sleep mode. And like I said, all settings for power/display disabled and fixes installed, and lock also disabled, and it still freezes in sleep mode.

This is your first post but you flashed a ROM so I am going to assume you have been here awhile reading. We have a special policy here where we promote reading threads and searching for your issue. To be honest, I could understand a post like this in hyperdragon or another ROM with hundreds of pages of posts, but there are 22 pages here, it would take 10 mins or so to read it all. You are posting about known issues, and you do not seem to be being nice about it. Also, this is a BETA ROM which means it will have issues. If those problems are too big for you, flash a more stable non-beta ROM.

Make sure you read the thread or search next time.

I noticed, after several flashes, that the software keyboard in Yota contacts isn't fully visible / functional (see enclosure). anybody else having the same issue?

I've tried to change regional settings, added / extracted the ned.xml and eng.xml inside yota contacts but without success..

I'am the only one..

Hello there, I just installed this rom and I must say I am very impressed. It is very speedy and stable as far as I can tell. I have been able to get everything working with the exception of my e-mail accounts. After first boot it asked me to set up my email, at which time I set up my personal gmail account. This worked without a problem. But when I go to try and add my second gmail account it does not allow me to go further than inputting my name and password, at this point the "Next" key does not go anywhere. I also can no longer change the settings in my original Gmail account. I have looked around at other rom posts with the 6.5 hybrids but have had no luck. Anyone else running into this problem? Is there a fix? If not then no biggie, as I can hard reset my phone to setup my other more important account if necessary, thanks for the help in advance.

I too have this email issue with 6.5. I'm using AthineOS's ME version. I even tried using google sync and i can't seem to get it to sync after doing exact instructions with data connection on. It seems to be a fishy mesh between 6.1 email configuration since it's behaving as if it's push email when most gmail users rely on pop so email is never deleted off the server

i haven't try a lot of things cause i'm flashing a lot... but i've tryed m2d, it's work well...

Lock function will crash the phone like the first 6.5 version but i've solved it one time i can try again, problem is i don't remember how i did :D
