I have tried this rom => [08 FEB][WM6.5] AthineOS|Lite|+|NAKED|+|ME|[B.21109]

It is very stable but not working IGO8 or IGO8.3 on it.

Please try it on this version.

I honestly do not care for WM6.5 Honeycomb type home-screen.. looks like it was designed by a 10 year old kid. Hodge podge icon orientation and speed is not that measurable. I will stick with Manila2D on WM6.1 for now.

Looking really good so far, but seems to have the camera bug like the other versions of 6.5 that are out there. Camera bug is take a picture and then after review timeout there will be a square with the loading symbol on it, and the picture never saves. I still haven't figured out a fix for this yet. And if there is one boy do I feel stupid. Exchange seems to be working though!

One thing i noticed is the usbtopc is missing, I believe this is supposed to autocreate when you setup the connection, but when it auto recognizing the carrier, it is not creating the usbtopc and therefore not syncing to pc. Please tell me if I am missing something.

One issue I see, is that there are no power or backlight settings in the settings menu! other than that, good job it is running smooth and I will continue to test and post feedback! b, I answered your PM, let me know what you need! :)

Other than that its looking good. Honeycomb/Titanium performance is, like I excpected, not that good, but thats probably a thing you can't do much about.

I'll play around more with it and report if I find anything else.

I have small issue on email setup: after an account created, if I go to Menu->Option, the account is nowhere to be seen to be edited. So I can't change the download behaviour, etc. after the account setup.

Another reason I need that is by using default email setup for GMail, it'll be POP3. I want IMAP, so I trick it to use 'con' instead of 'com' and able to set manually. Then I usually go back to the account and edit it back to be 'com'. This was done on stock ROM ok.

You can change it just looks like you cant, hit the arrow next to it and try and move the time options up and down, it will pop up! i have mine set already!

Agree absolutely about the slow speed of the honeycomb. It's so terrible. Wonder if it could be removed totally. Titanium is also not useful. I also tried using PCMKeyboard, which initially was working but after a few SR, the keyboard won't display at all. So I didn't test if the exchange email (out of office and manage folders) is working or not. Any chance of removing the honeycomb and titanium and releasing as a naked rom?

Still prefer your earlier 6.5 naked rom which to me, is the fastest amongst the other naked roms (6.1 included). If only the exchange email (out of office and manage folders) could be fixed, it would be great!

the rom is fast.. the touch movement is slow.. if you tap somewhere open immediately and if you move the screen with d-pad is very fast.. but the touch movement is slow :(

make a backup to your rom.. with your settings.. change the rom.. and if not good for your meter.. go back to phoenix and restore the settings..

i'm not sure about the rom if is complete 6.5 or not

Very fast and nice looking rom, there is one problem I find so far is the camera, after a picture is taken, the phone frozen for quit a long time, until the phone turned off, but when the phone turned on, it's ok again.

Yup I do that every time I flash a new rom.

Its heavily distorted when I switch to landscape.

I could recieve calls but couldnt make any outgoing calls.

also the HSDPA function was no longer avaleble
Ofcourse im running on the 6.1 version again but i just wanted to bring to your attention that the system aint working as its suppost to. YET! :D

Ok, they removed your links, maybe the kitchen will rest for a while, but you still can give us a little support for this beta ROM, my kaiser is back, from a dead touchscreen issue (mobo and touch was faulty) and maybe i try this, the question is, is stable enough?

I installed it last night, (2/17) and used it all day today. Had no big issues. small ones were;
Sometimes when selecting email or text from main "Titanium" screen, the calendar would pop up. Also the scrolling on Titanium is not "right" it doesn't flow
I had to reset a couple of times, due to unresponsiveness.
Like someone else said that big X sucks.
I installed ATT Express Mail, cause the regular mail was not working right.
Also installed Opera, Skyfire and Skype without a problem. (Opera seems a little flackey)
TomTom7 also worked without a problem.
Don't really like the new IE, and that Honey Comb interface, looks really bad if it's trying to compete with IPhone or Palm Pre.
It's not very user friendly, allot of hunting around for stuff in the different folders.
They should look at Android, I like that interface better.

Sorry this sounds confused, I'm just trying to think of how I felt as I used it today.


It's very fast, and the battery life was excellent.

Overall I think you did a great job with what Microsoft gave you to work with.
It got the job done and did what it was supposed to do, just not in a cool way.

I'm not being critical, just giving feedback on a Beta.

FOR HSPL you know what must use.. if you have titl 3.56 if you have all the other orange,vodafone,htc t-mobile.......... use 3.29

for radio maybe don't working all try the best for you..

ok, outstanding work b1, only thing so far i have found is that the camera doesn't completely work, after you take a pic and click send, delete, etc... or click anything the ap shows a square and freezes resulting in a hard reset. this isn't related to this rom only, but all the roms of this build that I have tried. Fast rom, lotsa space, very nice job again brother.

i upgraded the camera to a 6.8 something build and it did the same, it is aparently wm G.S related because the other G.S. roms are doing it also

also changing camera resolution has had no effect on the problem as well

there is NO 6.5 rom microsoft shut that down. you had to change roms because of "the X"? its just an X on a "BETA" rom hardly worth flashing another rom because of!

Just wanted to share that I'm loving this rom after some tweaking. I used HTCRIE to delete the following from your rom so that I could have a leaner and faster rom to used. Up till today, I managed to get rid of these application files (except for the registries which I don't know how to delete from rom, only can do that after rom had been flashed):

1. HTC Task Manager - Wktask
2. Dialer -> Use my Combo 3D Dialer
3. Titanium -> Don't want it, save space -> Use SPB MS 2.15
4. HTC EzInput Keyboard -> PCMKeyboard 2.3

I'm sticking with this rom because I like the new theme feature, with more colourful blocks on the email, and some of the notifications. The other rom of yours, which is 21139 (the first 65 rom) naked version, is also very fast (except devicelock not working), but the new theme feature is not inside.
