This ROM is using new Upgrade Methode.. Make sure you have HARDSPL (Important !!!) your device.

but i'v number of problems(dont know if bugs):
the google maps deosn't do the search and there isn't any results
the youtube doesnt work
i tried to activate them and this blocks the the pda and i have to do the restart

Yeah, theres something that is not right with the dialpad the first one that
asks you for the simcard pin, after that the dialpad to make fone call is allright.

I'm having problems using both SD and WiFi at the same time. Whenever I try to download something to the SD, I loose the card or the device locksup. When I loose the card, closing down WiFi and reinserting the SD gives me back my SD.

This is a nice ROM, but why after hardreset my Prophet didnt want to doing softreset? specially after automatic customize, i have tried flashed my prophet again and again but this problem always come...and the pin numpad is screw...

btw i really like this rom, stable, fast, and goodlooking...great job vincent!like always...and happy new year!

Well Varanus i´m going to try it, so far i´m using the last rom from gullum with the digital watch from pcarvalho, with some other programs i installed and tsowen taskbar , i have blue G icon, 3D sound icon, 3D battery icon the on the stays on the vertical, it looks right now very good, i hope on future releases you put with rom some of these programs:
icontact0.9; thumbcal 1.25(have the serial if you need it), mss converter, galarm, stopwatch,pocket finance, windows live, messenger, opera, dci battery, and put ez input allready on the rom like gullum did, its a must.

I need more time to do others thing in my life. I really need to do others, since I spend to much time play all time with Prophet.

Prophet has limited Storage and has limited capability. And like Gullum said, buy new device, if you want really have a great device :p

Not all people like the software that you mention above. I am one of them. And I prefer install it manually.

EZ Input is in a cab, since not all people like it.

Like I always said.

There is no Perfect ROM. Since every People has own idea about perfect ROM.

First: Thanks for this ROM. It looks really pretty, and hell it´s fast...

I had problems with Cyberon Voice Speed Dial v1.2 (incl. BT_Fix): everytime I pressed the button on my Bluetooth Headset, either nothing happened (but all sound has been routed through my headset... really ugly), or only the dialing pad opened.

Now after a lot of research and "shouting bad words" I finally managed it to work, so here is the solution wich worked for me:


First download and install Cyberon_Voice_Speed_Dial_v1.2___BT_Fix.cab on a "clean" installation of this ROM, softreset afterwards.

Then open Registry Editor, and edit the following:

::: !! Set Bluetooth off while doing this, just 2 be sure^^
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway\BTA GExtModule = "\Windows\OEMAGW.dll"

and

HKLM\Software\OEM\VoiceCommand\path\ should be "\Windows\SDDialer.exe"

CAREFUL: "\windows\" has to be attached!

After registry update save and exit clean, then Softreset your device.



I just hope this saves you guys a couple of hours... :)

WOW, very nice rom.....I always like Vincent's rom. but seems like the Blue Manila Rom is more stable. I've been using the Blue version for almost 2 months never hanged....but this neon version hang a few times :rolleyes: are there any ways for me to free up some space to make it more stable?? I have been using your blue manila now since you released it and have tweaked it to my liking.

1. Internet Explorer tends to hang after some time
2. Prophet responds very slowly when using Adobe Reader

Problem I've encountered is that with wifi enabled the SD card locks up.. at times the card may be readable but not writable.. but if it bombs out only turning phone off and on again restores the card..

This makes using apps on the storage card that requires wifi impossible.. cannot download large files to SD card via wifi..

it seems as soon as the wifi connects to an access point the sd card become non-usable..

I love your ROM, but cannot send emails via WiFi. With Wifi connected, the system looks like it can get stuck at any time. Have you detected such a problem? I flashed it without errors, made a hard reset and have not installed any additional stuff yet. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Dear Friend,
very nice rapid and good ROM but some problem I have. I read all messages in this Thread but not found my problem.
1- WiFi not work at all.
2- When I press CALL button and want to choose contact from my list because of my contact list is not english (Persian-Farsi) the "phone keyboard" not support farsi and not possible to choose another keyboard from SIP list but , how can I change the keyboard in Phone mode to type the contact name ?
3- Memory is not free as well as I want for example 20MB.
