Hi I have been having a fruitless time trying to get a replacement battery cover replaced after orange sent my htc tytn II back to htc for "fixing"( only two weeks after I got it on contract) It was sluggish, dropped video frames hopeless camera etc. I was to just keep my sim card (unusual- as it usually is the battery cover and battery) though I had been having prblems with the battery as well. Anyway To cut a long story short it came back from htc with a clip broken on the battery cover and orange said to contact htc as they would send a replacement (LOL) htc said that even if they did damage it that as it was a cosmetic item it was up to me to buy a new one. This has been going on for a year and each call results in the same thing. (they hadnt responded to all my previous letters and e-mails) I know it may seem petty of me not to have bought a replacement cover but for a large company like htc to have such abysmal customer service/relations seems counterproductive. Sorry to moan but I had to get it off my chest. I put windows 6.1 and after many hours of tweaking it still drops calls has a poor camera but video is slightly better.

the tytn 2s camera crappyness and slow video would be the result of htc not including drivers for the graphics card

as for the battery cover take out insurance next time, orange will then send you a cover

Yes Thants what orange told me though they were disgusted with htc's appalling lack of customer service and thought htc should have replaced it f.o.c. as they damaged it. But I take it you think this is normal and I shoulnt have persued it.
