Hi
I'm thinking about to install on my elfin the lcd of HTC JADE ora HTC TOUCH 3g because they have 260000colours instead of 65000 standard elfin lcd.
do you think it's possibile?
I have seen that the resolution is the same between these models: 240x320
so the external dimension should be equal isn't it?

the graphicadapter know, you have a new display ;-)
or you rewrite a new firmware/Rom with complete new graphiclibrary.:rolleyes:

sorry but I did not understand your answer...:(
you think that if I do a hard reset the rom did not recognize the new screen?

i guess what he try to mean is..

for the current htc touch rom.. there is a dll(:confused:) which is written to produce 65k color. To make it generate 265k color u may need to rewritten those code .. hm..
