Backspace/del get swopped?

When im typing a txt message and i go back into the bulk of the txt message to change a word, when i press the backspace button half the time the phone records it as me pressing the 'del' button and deletes the stuff AFTER the word, instead ot the word itself. I then have to press fn -> 'del' to get the backspace to work, but only after iv deleted the stuff after the original word.


Does this happen to anyone else? is there a reason it does this?

Weird, but probably simple to fix. have you tried the keyboard cabs for roms ? One is ATT layout for htc roms on att phones and the other is the opposite.

Download the cab for the correct layout of your keyboard and install :)


It should completely remap your keyboard.

Im not sure what caused it but hopefully this fixes it :)
