Hello Everyone
I see that cookers are working on the new WM6.5 Roms.
But as of now ..none on the Beta6.5s have new UI cooked in.
Also the cab for the WM6.5 does not work. It causes hard reset.
Only Rom that this cab works is the new (26 Jan 09) PDACornerUltimate.V17 Beta-21139 .Everything works except scrolling, you have to use d-button to select but I think it is minor issue for me.
I just love this new UI. So much better and cleaner than all the others.
Why is it that only PDACornerUltimate.V17 Beta-21139 works?

Just installed it and can't wait till it works and than customize it. One thing I've missed about my Dash/Excalibur is Sliding Panels from WinMo 6.1 Standard. About time this comes to WinMo Pro...

BTW, I extracted all the CHome files I could find. Here is a zip of the files. For some reason I can't find the imaging associated with the Panel and Icons. I believe they're in the cmhome.dll, but when I open it with ResHack, I don't see anything inside...

I was able to open the bronzeres.dll and found no images. It just looked like some form of code. I'm not too familiar with dll's to elaborate anymore than that. I've been able to pull out images, but is as far as I've gotten atm. Still need to learn a bit about them...

You have to forgive me for not getting all excited but isn't this just my rlToday screen in a honeycomb shape? What's next WM 7 in a triangular shape?

Well if you look at it like that, then isn't ANY new interface just the same old screen in a different shape? Manilla is the exact same as HTC Home, just a different shape (actually the same shape, but lower on the screen).
In all seriousness, no, I don't think your old interface is anything at all like that Honeycomb interface.

No one has even really seen this interface yet, speculation, rumour, fakes, all adds up to? "censored due to nature"
All the shots are basically a sliding panel and chome icons from WM6.1 sp, oh and some random honey comb thing that has so many different so beit real shots lol
M2D forever if it looks as cheap as it does in all these random butchered pics :D

I don't like M2D. I might like it more if it worked in landscape. With it not working in landscape though, it makes little sense to run it on my phone. A couple of the main reasons I bought my phone were 1: the slide out keyboard, and 2: the tilting screen.
I use both of those features all the time, and M2D doesn't work right with either of them. So I have gone back to HTC Home, and I look forward to a new interface.

imo no isues with m2d as open up the text etc in portrait then slide out the keyboard get to use the tilt screen aswell :) I know it's all down to personal preference, so not nockin ya, just think there is alot of speculation and rumour @ the mo, not doubting WM6.5 the interface just all the mojo's we seeing...

When I am at work, using the company computer, they are pretty strict about using it for business only. They have software on it that records your screen, and they review it at least 3 times per month. If you get caught doing personal things, you get fired. And, of course, they won't allow you to use your own laptop either.
I take my phone, sit it right in front of my computer keyboard on my desk, flip the screen up like a laptop, and just use my phone as my personal computer. I browse the net, email, work on word and excel, even watch my Slingbox. Pretty much anything anyone would be doing on their work computer that the company doesn't want, I do on my phone.
And M2D makes it FAR more cumbersome to do that. I don't want to have to pick it up, close the keyboard, open a new program, and then put it back down. I like to leave it sitting down. Every time I pick it up to close it, I run the risk of getting caught. We technically aren't supposed to use our phones while on the clock, so I could get in trouble if I get caught. But the phone is so small I could just put it away if I see somebody coming (which consists of turning it off and moving it over about 2 feet so it is out of the way, like I wasn't just using it). But if I am picking it up and advertising to everyone that I have it, everytime I switch apps, I am running the risk of getting caught.
Hopefully the WM6.5 works in landscape. If it only works in portrait like M2D then I'll stick with HTC Home.

I just installed it, as I have been running v17 for a while. The scroll wheel also works. Allows me to use my tilt in my left hand with my thumb and still tap with the right.
One problem with it, is that no matter what the softkeys say, you get contacts on the right and calendar on the left. I installed MastSogo's Manila Control and it works perfectly.
I am also trying to figure out if i can make it finger scroll through settings somewhere.

It does work on PDA v17, but like many have said, it looks like a "mock up". I have a T-Mobile Dash with WinMo 6.1 and SlidingPanels. It is the same exact thing as this new Titanium. Just this new one is laid out a bit differently. All the registry settings seem to be the same. The fact Touch don't work sucks and like mentioned before, makes me think it's a smartphone rip as well. Also it semi-works in Landscape. It gets all buggy and when I changed my background, it looks all funky. Haven't looked into if there's a way to make a seperate Landscape Background....
