Tilt and micro sd card

I put in a 512md micro sd card into my wife tilt and noticed that the card was getting hot while in her phone. I removed the card and it was very hot to touch. I'm going to buy her a 8 or 4gb micro sdhc card today but I wanted to know if anyone else experienced problems with the cards. I flashed hyperdragon III onto her phone.

That certanly doesn't sound normal to me. I would probably exchange the card for a different one.

I don't have a lot of experience taking out my storage card though. I usually put it in, and it stays there for several months at a time (or longer). So mine could be geting hot too, for all I know.

Staples had 8gb on sale for $19 , hope your tilt is okay and not the problem. Does the 512mb work normally in another phone or sd adapter?

The card worked fine, it was used in a blackberry previously to being in the tilt. Radio Shack also has an 8gb card for $20. I'll get it on my break and report back. thanks

I just purchased an 8gb card and it's working fine, not heating issues at all. The other card must have had a bug or something.
