Prophet searching for service provider???? [Archive]

Hi,

I am using at the moment following ROM:
CE OS 5.2.20755 Build 20755 1c.M2D.2009
cooked by Hoang An,
which I downloaded from this site.

It is fast and working very good EXCEPT:
very once in a while the phone starts suddenly searching for service provider and it stays in this searching state. When I turn off the phone through comm. manager and turn it on - it finds the service provider again.
When I use the same SIM card in another phone - this problem does not come up. So, it is the problem of the phones' hardware or its software.

As I am often on on-call duty, I must be sure that the phone has always found the provider.
That is why I have following questions:

1. Has anybody had this problem?
2. Is this problem specific for this cooked ROM or is it often that something like this happens with Prophet?
3. Does anybody know how to correct this problem?

Maybe you need to use a diferent radio? :)

Can you tell me how to change it?

I am rather new to all this.

Which radio would you recommend and where can I get it?

Try the last radio :) If doesnt work, try other :)

1. yours should be "1d.M2D.2009", NOT "1c.M2D.2009",

Try it like dioxda said, if it does not work install 2.19 radio rom and you should be fine. :D

I had a problem about the phone is not ready and wait 15 sec, like this.
2.19 radio is solved .
