I've had a good look around the forum and couldn't find an answer to this...
Does anyone know how to keep my tom tom settings after a reflash? I'm getting sick of changing all my prefs every time I try a new ROM.
Many thanks

Yeah, I install TomTom on the internal storage and when I reflash, just reinstall the program again to internal storage and all settings will remain. I recently added TT7 as an oem to custom roms I built and now I have to manually reset my preferences whenever I flash another rom, argh!

It is installed on the Internal Storage. It seems to auto-run when I re-flash and all my setting disapear. Very strange!

You need to backup the 'MapSettings.cfg' file before flashing.
I believe this is the file where the favourites and home locations are saved (and possibly other settings too). There is one of these files for every map that you have. So for example, for a UK_IE map, on my device it is in \Internal Storage\UK_IE_Map\MapSettings.cfg
Even though you install Tomtom on Internal Storage, settings/program files are overwritten everytime Tomtom is (re)installed. So just backup the .cfg and then restore/overwrite it once you have installed the software.
