I've kitchen another rom with windows mobile 6.5 and the build is 21159.
it's a test.

Unfortunately the system isn't very quick.
I've deleted Manila2D.
I've added IE8 for a request, but it's very slow.
4 versions are disponible: with htc driver or with omnia driver.
both versions are in 6mb and 18mb of pagepool.
With 18mb of pagepool you less ram but system is more reactive ;)
I've fixed problem with Volume control.

Features:

* Build 21159 windows mobile 6.5
* Page Pool 6mb/18mb
* HTC Driver 3d / Omnia d3d drivers
* Advanced Configurator
* Calculator
* Camera
* EzInput (with t9)
* HTC Album
* HTC Comm Manager
* Internet Explorer 8 with AdobeFlash
* Jbed Java
* ObexInbox
* Opal Phone Canvas (sorry but no videocall)
* PHM RegEdit
* SoftReset

At first run, in welcome center, the screen auto-turn off also when typing with keyboard or with touchscreen: open and close slide to turn on the screen ;)

You can find HTC Audio manager, windows media player(ecc...) in /windows/... (no link in start menu)

If you want try it, Download:

I did test it and all seemed fine, but I was beta-testing another rom at the moment, so I didnt test this one much...

The main thing I saw was bigger buttons on the pop-up dialogs (really big) like in the explorer, but on Resco explorer, the sizes remained the same... so it should probalbly only be good for system messages.
also, the "working" pizza animation was huge, as if it was for VGA. :D

Everywhere I could scroll, the drag motion with the finger worked quite well.
The dialer screen didnt appear for me, but I had an old radio, so that could be why.

Other than that it felt pretty much like WM6.1.
Thanks for the rom. :)

I made some screenshots to show-off some of the new features:
http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/1417/screen01yf1.png

The dialer screen doesnt work (as reported on the first post), had to install the opal dialer.

Will you continue development? :)

preferisco i sistemi in inglese :)
e comunque essendo una rom per test (e avendor regalato il dual a mio fratello) è inutile ammazzarmi di lavoro :D

It is nice to play around, but too slow for daily use...
The start menu navigation is completly diferent than what I was thinking.
Loved the new icons. ^_^

Thank you. :)

Here are some more pics.

Just giving it a whirl, but is slow and the menu layout I personally find cumbersome and annoying, feels more like 5.5 not 6.5.

i know :(
i've tried to clean anymore but system is slow :(
and without pagepool system is slower and has less free ram :(!
i think that the problems are htc driver and the beta build....
i hope that in the next build the speed is increased

increase speed by replacing 804mui file in fwupdate (MdsRes_wpc.exe.0409.mui) if you haven't it worked for us in hermes :)
also gdiplus.dll in shell use from better sys :) will help allot :)
Also try using old oemdrivers not from new jade builds. slim down oem and will be speedier.

Sorry if you did this already, I'm just trying to be helpful.

hi,

strange the one we got at universal forum looks way different and also has the new today plugin, which looks like the one from 6.1 standard... also we have nice looking scrollbars + working fingerscroll support :)

Using the 6MB version, much quicker so far and stable, the new mune looks cool, but on some these are cut off (i.e. when appointments pop up), otherwise the same active sync issue exists, keeps coming up with th Support code issue: 80070057.

If you correctly port it, yes it should work :)
