I'm trying to install wondows mobile 6.5 on my X1, I have downloaded all the files but it wouldn't install. it gives an error and stays on 0%. Somebody knows how to fixes this?

we need more info to help you!
how did u upload the rom to ur phone? by sd card? or by usb cable?
use the usb cable that came with ure phone ! other usb cable can freeze the installation. it happend to me :)

hallo,
my xperia is locked by vodafone. (My provider ist T-Mobile)
The phone is locked.
I´m not able to lash any rom. hard spl doesn´t work.
in threecolor mode i can read:
Kovs110
SPL-0.78.0000
MicroP1-787
MicroP2-707

what can I do to delete the branding, lock and install the SE rom?

HardSPL Won't work on his phone as he has a newer SPL: 0.78.0000

Unlike the one most of us have SPL: 0.72.0000

yes, it works. got mine back from repairs with 0.78 twice and re-applied hard-spl without every problems.

also, if one is to send the phone for repairs:
flash stock-rom, stock-spl 0.72 (post #1), then run SEUS and it will update the stock-spl to 0.78.

no problems. :)

1.16.25.48 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=532249) is the latest official, there is also a 1.17.25.19 ported one, but at least for me that drained batty rather fast w/o any noticeable signal strength improvement
I would think you need to try whether a higher radio improves your signal or not also with regard to battery drainage, then you will know whats best for you
and don't forget to include rilphone.dll in your tests

hi there i did the spl and after i copied a room to card and rebooted he says loading then no image found and the name it right...

that's not much to work on...
so you successfully flashed h-spl, then copied a rom to your sd card root, renamed it to Kovsimg.nbh and tried to flash it but the image was not found, is that correct?
is the sd formatted as FAT32? any more details?

Ed. I forgot about language: I don't think there are many Portuguese roms around, but some chefs provide language files to change from WWE to other languages, that should also include Portuguese I would expect

#4 this thread you find Generic UK R2AA010, flashing that and update via SEUS should give you R3AA as well, as long as dl in pavelx1 thread doesn't work

Thanks Darken Kronin. I tried downloading from the ftp server using Resco explorer but i'm having difficulty downloading the file to my memory card saying it could notfind the path. Is there something i can do to download directly to the memory card.

2) What can i do to remove or undo the text prediction in XT9 keyboard as i tried unchecking the text prediction box but it didn't budge.

1) let's see, I'm normally using opera or IE and there you can choose save as and pick memory card as location, I don't know about config options in Resco
but I found a means to change save location to sd though I never tried it myself, maybe it helps you:
The order in which this is done is essential. Backup your SD card and My Documents content before trying this. Best done on a fresh installation.

Reset your device
Synch with PC
\HKLM\System\StorageManager\Profiles\SDMemory
Change Folder key to My Documents

Rename original My Documents folder to e.g. My Docs
Power off and reset device
Synch device with PC
Check file explorer: My Documents folder should have an SD card icon now
Restore files

2) to disable xt9 try this
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Layouts\e001 0409
Change Ime File to \windows\compime.dll
Change Layout Text to COMP IME

Hi, I was looking for the Kovsky Kitchen and the ftp server sees to be down. I was thinking of cooking myself as I just want to remove the things I don't want from the stock ROM. I searched for another link to the kitchen, but I am not sure the ones that I found are the latest or even for XPERIA ROMs. It would be great if someone can give me a download link. Also, if possible, please point me to a guide to cooking.

Hi,
I installed the 1.16 radio and everything works fine, but a SMS I get is now displayed as networkmessage (in german it's "Netwerknachricht"). The sender isn't displayed and the message isn't stored anywhere.
I wanted to go back to 1.11.25.76 (because 1.14 don't works well) but the links aren't accesible anymore.

I upgraded my radio to 1.16.... and after that whenever I try to navigate with garmin mobile my gps keeps on disconnecting.

I wanna go back to 1.06.25.29 as it was working in that version.

Can someone help with a link?

well, my first guess would be X10 Development (http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=617), my second would be, that also Chef Central Android (http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=613) should contain something useful

no experience, but check the link provided by freak4all and try them as radio quality cannot be extrapolated from another region/country
also consider rilphone.dll in your test runs
