Great post. Sometimes the instructions are hard because there are many parts to how solutions work. You may need to use the search button like a dictionary so you can get the definiton you need for part of the process. Here are some suggestions to help you faster:
1. Use the wiki. There is valuable information on your phone(s) there. It's not to long so read it first. It really helps.
2. When taking on a new process, read the complete thread. Many of the questions you have will be answered and some of the questions you didn't have yet also. Plus you get more assistance by not asking the same question 15 other 'noobs' have.
3. Take your time and read, read, read. Don't rush through these things because bricking your phone is always a possibility when you rush and skip steps of a process.
4. Be patient. This is a developers site where people do this work because they want to and it's during their spare time. A lot of developers have families, school, etc... This is a job for the passionate. The only pay is thanks and donations so respect that. Beyond that this is an international community so time of day varies alot.
5. Visit often and look around. The longer you stay the more you learn. Check out other phone threads and see what's going on.
6. Never use a process/program not made for your specific phone unless you are willing to brick your device.
7. Try developing yourself. I don't develop so I try to help out the newbies and give clear, concise feedback to the developers. Give back in any positive manner you may.
8. Check out my signature. Make one like it. This is the information needed to answer your questions so make it available at all times. I think this should be mandatory myself.
